Funny part is, you could just change Joel Bowden to Chad Cornes and not too many would disagree!I reckon Richmonds's Joel Bowden gets close to 50 posessions every week.All in the back half and all uncontested.

I don't think reliable stats have been kept for that long. Pre 1930 I think a lot of "games played/goals scored" stats are derived from Geelong footy club records kept pretty much for internal club purposes. Don't know whern the League started to accumulate a centrally organised suite of properly defined stats, but I think it was the mid 1990's.
I believe Bob Skilton was reported as having 44 kicks in a game around 1970. Handball stats were not available.
