The lizard. He does everything. Lethal kick, electric pace, incredible drive off hb and unlike most other has, he is showcasing really strong defensive skills with his marking and spoiling.
Makes the occasional blue but you wear those from the guys who take the game on.
Don't get me wrong I think he's a good player, just not living up to his potential this season. Great to see him have a few stabs the other night, one was a ripper goal to put the Cats in front.OK cool.

We'll agree to disagree then, I think he was way more damaging in his first few seasons. This is the best season of his career by a long way.
Sicily is one of the best defenders I have ever seen. Blows me away every time I watch himZero All Australians for someone who has been the best/second best medium backman (either him or Tom Stewart) over the last six years tells me is underrated.
Yes he is clearly recognised as the best player at the Hawks but we are pretty much off Broadway these days with little free to air games for the broader public to watch him in action.
If he was playing in a competing side like the Pies or Port he would be more recognised for his unbelievable levels of talent and consistency.
Like I said its a left field nomination but I think it works.
Based on how we have gone since he was suspended he literally makes us a 6 goal better team when he plays (or a six goal worse when he doesn't).Sicily is one of the best defenders I have ever seen. Blows me away every time I watch him
Further proof of Dan Houston being completely underrated.Zac Merret a clear 3 votes last night
Salem from Melbourne. Close to the best ball user in the comp.
Houston was very good but Zac was a clear best on ground for four quartersFurther proof of Dan Houston being completely underrated.
Supercoach is a much more reliable, and accurate rating of a players worth to said game.
Unfortunately some truth to this. Needs to take some responsibility for kicking goalsMiers this season has semi-mastered the pass off/score-assist out of necessity from being too fearful of missing his shots on goal, he's 2.9 this season after going 47.25 in his first couple, so hardly worth rating at all. Hugh McCluggage does the same thing for Brisbane but at least he's a mid & not a small forward like Miers is meant to be.
The Lizard's damn good, and fairly underrated amongst those not in the know. Would love to have him at the BL & would go as far to say it'd be game set match if we did.The lizard. He does everything. Oscar Allen. Has kicked 35 goals this year in one of the worst teams in the history of the game. Phenomenal effort.
Nick Larkey
This post haunts me.Dan Houston I reckon would be the one I'd pick from Port. Can't remember the last time he played a bad game
Merrett was so clear as BOG that he received 4 Coaches Votes to Houstons 10 but no doubt lock in the 3 Brownlow votesHouston was very good but Zac was a clear best on ground for four quarters
Fergus Greene, how has he not been getting a game lately..
Yes I did notice he struggled abit during rounds 7 & 8 I think it was. I thought he'd be somewhat taking Gunston's spot this year, he looks handy up fwd when he's switched on.Given his age I dare say he isnt a part of our long term plan. Very much the guy we have now while we try our younger players in the forward line.
Also, he had struggled to kick goals while Mitch Lewis was playing, with Lewis being by far our more important forward.
