Absolutely thrilled for Senna Agius' ride last weekend. Just the tip of the iceberg for him. I think he can compete for the title within the next two years.

Pretty terrific debut ride from Harry Voight. Hopefully he can get a spot on that grid in a couple of years time.

Disappointing weekend for Kelso. Started well but got typically out muscled and took too long to fight back.

Nice solid, if unspectacular, result for Roulstone.

The Phillip Island wildlife will be happy Miller isn't there this weekend.

It's not really about the track, more the 400 year old facilities. It's a tough place to draw a big crowd, and indeed it doesn't for any other event outside of MotoGP.

The Vic Govt probably need to put their hands in their pockets and fund an upgrade but they're broke.

It's been rumoured for a number of years that Phillip Island will lose the GP if they don't upgrade the race direction tower. I actually thought that would have already happened.

Spectator facilities badly need updating - even just running drainage in the grass areas would make a big difference.

Don't think anything will ever happen with the roads. Impossible to justify the cost for a single big event.

It's SOME of the riders favourite, don't get sucked into what they say to Aussie media once a year.

And neither Bathurst or PI meet the current safety standards to hold an F1 race, in fact no other track outside of Albert Park does.

If you held an F1 race at Bathurst cars would literally take flight.

Phillip Island mightn't be outright but it's amongst the favourite tracks for most of the riders.

Ignoring the safety standards of the track, it's just not capable of holding a F1 size crowd. 53,000 on race day for Casey's last - we didn't bother leaving our accommodation till 8:30 at night to avoid the traffic nightmare. Imagine a 100,000 crowd. Traffic would be chaos.

More of a discussion point re tracks . Yes I know F1 would be chaos at the top of the mountain but my argument is that Supercars negotiate the danger. And I don’t get sucked in .

A supercar would be around 30 seconds a lap slower than this version of an F1 car.

The FIA would NEVER sanction a race there

But those guys are literally mad, it's hard enough driving around those roads at normal speed let alone riding at warp speed

Also has anyone noticed that Bastinini’s bike seems the faster out of the two Ducati’s the last few rounds does this mean MM will be on the no.1 bike next yr and Bagnaia will get pushed over lol just some thoughts?
