God knows why with lavender biscuits. Often it's lavender oil added directly to the mix which is terribly overpowering. It's the same with lavender ice cream, which did a great trade today btw, as the taste is only supposed to be subtle like an aftertaste.Hi moginie congratulations.
I have one question for you… what is the deal with lavender biscuits? I like lavender for its calming aromatics and aesthetically pleasing purple flowers. I like that bees love it. I like that you can turn multiple plants into a neat little hedge in areas of full sun.
One thing I just don’t get is who in their right mind thought that eating lavender is a good idea? I mean, why ruin a perfectly good biscuit by putting lavender in it? It is like knowing letting something into your mouth to molest your taste buds.
lavender lemonade could work! Maybe even lavender gin.God knows why with lavender biscuits. Often it's lavender oil added directly to the mix which is terribly overpowering. The lavender lemonade is excellent though. Good mixer with some of the more ordinary gins.
And he's spot on.lavender lemonade could work! Maybe even lavender gin.
Speaking of gin, my brother gave me a bottle of green ant gin for Christmas. It has green ants floating in it. I actually ate a green ant when I was a kid growing up in the NT and I can tell you that it was actually more pleasant than a lavender biscuit. I don’t know whether this is accurate or not but the bloke who sold it to my brother claims that the green ants are in it to give it a bit of sweetness/ citrus.

I’m pleased to announce that we have two new additions this season.
DemonJim and sante joined the club in Season 22 and Season 23 respectively. Since that time, they have played 549 games, earned All-Sweet FA selection twice, and won four premiership medals - both represented the club in our successful Season 26 and Season 31 campaigns.
Both DJ and sante were long-term leadership group members, and have represented the club with distinction over a very long period of time. We’re lucky to have had them in our ranks, and their elevation to the Mount Buller Hall of Fame is richly deserved to recognise their efforts.
Congratulations, DemonJim. You had already had a glittering Sweet FA career at the Wonders and the Bears when you came across, and you’ve only added to that career in your time at the Demons. You could easily be a multi-Mobbs Medalist (apologies for reminding you), and some of your credentials in this league are quite absurd (e.g., second most Mobbs Medal votes of all time).
And congratulations, sante. You almost retired about 19 times, and one day we’ll let you, but I’m certainly glad none of those retirement efforts came to fruition. You bring a light-hearted energy to match threads that I think we all enjoy, and it’s worth noting that, aside from anything else, you’ve been part of this place since Season 4. That’s a terrific effort.
Congratulations again to DemonJim and sante for being elevated to the Hall of Fame - and thank you.
