Ooh

Inglorious Bastards or however it was spelt.

Shit.

Good choice for this thread, because I strongly disagree, great film. :)

I never really got the love for Pulp Fiction, I much prefer Tarantino's other films (like Basterds).

The Expendables - **** right off!

Basically anything with Jason Statham can go and fornicate with itself.

The guy makes everything b-grade Seagal level as far as I'm concerned.

The Revenant, for mine.

Cinematography, score, acting: top notch. The plot though, was a bit of a snorefest. I haven't rewatched since seeing it at the cinema, but I remember thinking it went on for about an hour too long.

Omg this this THIS. ****ing hated it.

For me- Harry Potter and LOTR, but I recognise that is more due to the fact I hate the genre, and I can at least understand why people love these types of films.

I also cannot stand children's films either, just dont get how adults can be into that kind of stuff.

Her (2013) - the movie when a guy falls in love with his computers operating system - Horrible movie.

La La Land (2016)- Absolutely terrible film.

Django Unchained (2012) mindless violence turned me off.

Inglorious Basterds (2009) More mindless violence that changes history for the purpose of nothing.

The Revenant (2015) Apart from the bear attack scene, the rest is shite. Totally overrated movie.

Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and Star Wars.
Maybe more but they come to mind readily. But rather than dislike, they just do not appeal to me to want to watch.
I also find some american comedians that others love like Mike Myers movies or whatever the character is from Fletch I just have no time for.

Never watched a James Bond movie since I was a little kid. There been a million versions since but not sure watched any of them but seen them advertised for about 20 year or more and feels like 10 or more movies of them been made ?
Transformers I never watched , just know by name. Just assume a movie made for kids like Harry Potter. Saw about 15 minutes of one on tv sometime earlier this year but still could not see why it is so popular.

Years ago there was a thread on here about overrated movies and I said Apocolypse Now and Taxi Driver to much contest. Since I've gone back and watched both of them multiple times changing my opinion on Taxi Driver but not Apocolypse now. I find it incredibly boring. Even the amazing acting aside it's pacing is just a crawl and struggle to get through it. Maybe in 10 years time I'll change on that too.

Blade Runner - Watched this for the first time recently, not sure why it's considered a classic.
Inglorious Basterds - Generally like QT movies but not this one, way too long & dumb.
Casino - As a fan of gangster movies I had high expectations based off reviews I'd read, but besides a memorable ending this movie didn't do much for me.
No Country for Old Men - I really disliked the third act after enjoying the first two. Pretentious.
There Will Be Blood - Too long & boring.

Hadn't heard of this before, but it is Coen Brothers so I'll add it to the To Watch list.

I just remember the name but not much about it other than another gangster movie that seemed to have a lot of those types in late 80s and early 1990s.

aaah quick search and found the trailer. I must have seen this over 25 years ago so cannot remember a thing other than enjoyed this movie. Will have to watch this again soon.

Haha five movies I love, particularly Her. This thread is dangerous!

I gave up on The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, boring as batshit.

Gone Girl and Pan's Labyrinth - both overrated imo, but I didn't hate them.

I liked Se7en and Silence of the Lambs but neither made me keen to watch them again.

Have you seen Once Upon a Time in the West? Because TGTB&TU is nothing compared to it in terms of how slow and boring it is. Having said that, it's on me for expecting a similar film when the style is completely different and although ultra realistic, I don't see how anyone could find it enjoyable to watch unless they're knowledgeable about film making.

Liked Inglorious Bastards.

But agree on There Will Be Blood. WTF was it about anyway? Also Lincoln or whatever with DDL. Not bad but will include an actor as well and that is the aforementioned Daniel Day Lewis. Always mumbling and without subtitles I wouldn't have the faintest clue what he is saying.
