Bending the topic a little, because I actually like this trilogy, but I could probably go the rest of my life without seeing the Back to the Future movies again. Watched the 2nd and 3rd movies so many ****ing times from being a little kid and until a few years after high school. Even watched the 2nd movie on October 21, 2015. They're fine movies but some people think they're some of the greatest movies ever and not just a good comedy action-ish trilogy. Or they think "childhood memories = awesome!!". You can only watch Biff Tannen try to mow down Marty and Doc driving a runaway train so many times. I know because I've done it.

Any movie with Seth Rogen. Don't like the godfather or Scarface didn't like the hangover just not funny.

I suppose the 1990 IT could be thrown in her.

It just skips over far too much for my taste, I know it's impossible to include everything, but it just cuts out too much important stuff and replaces it with cheap shit.

I also think Tim Curry's performance is considerably overrated and not even close to scary.

Funny, was just thinking this today. Loved them but think I'm done with them. Same with Star Wars OT. In fact I generally prefer to watch something new these days. Years ago I just watched 20 or so movies all the time and only occasionally watched something else.

I liked it at first, but a combination of being irritated by all the wolfpack wannabes irl and not enjoying that style of humour as much anymore has flipped my view of this one. Same with American Pie 1 and 2. Really liked them as teens, now I think they're just stupid.

Mad Max 2. Love everything up until when the interceptor get smashed and mad mel gets crippled which is only about 20mins in. Shouldve just ended there cos its a slog to get through after that.

A quick scroll through the IMDb top ratings to pick out the overrated ones (in my humble opinion of course):

Pulp Fiction - not awful but just kind of pointless. Some scenes are good, a lot are just unengaging. Don't understand the love at all.

Fight Club - overrated, pretentious and loved by yuppies everywhere.

Return of the King - an overblown CGI fest with too many endings. Fellowship was the best of the three. Come at me.

Kill Bill Vol 1 and 2 - just found them boring. I really can't explain any further. Not even sure why I put myself through Vol 2 after the first.
How the hell is Fight Club pretentious?

Django Unchained (2012) mindless violence turned me off.

Actually enjoyed the first half of the movie (when I don't usually have much time for Tarantino). However, at the pivotal moment halfway during the movie it turns average really quickly.
Also agree with your proposal of La La Land. Was far inferior to Sing Street which received no press for some reason.
Probably the two movies I was most disappointed with were Se7en and Guardians of the Galaxy.
I felt Se7en was decidedly uninteresting with a twist that really didn't feel like a twist worth caring about.
Guardians of the Galaxy started great (that scene in the cavern is gold) but it just felt like the stakes were artificial and I struggled to care about the world that they were saving and the antagonist was as weak as Marvel has produced (and that's saying something).
I've never enjoyed Ridley Scott movies. Perhaps the movie of his I've enjoyed the most is A Good Year, which is interesting because it was disappointing in most other estimations but I gained a better appreciation for Scott's ability to work on an emotional level plus Crowe having free reign is never a bad thing. Body of Lies was passable but Alien, Blade Runner, Kingdom of Heaven, Robin Hood and Prometheus I doubt I'll ever watch again.
Apparently Interstellar is reasonably highly rated. This is an extremely average movie. And I say that as a pretty big Nolan fan - three of his movies are in my top 10 movies of all time.

Every Steven Seagal movie he is in, that unfortunate to even see 5 minutes of.
Steven Seagal are great movies to switch your brain off and watch some mindless violence

Kinda agree on the Star Wars films being pretty underwhelming, there just not spectacularly amazing to me like they are to a lot of people there just meh and could easily not have watched any of them and feel like I wouldn't really be be missing anything.

Superhero movies, all of them.
