So no more "Go Eagles Go" over the PA?
I hope whoever made that decision to play that was embarrassed.

Cringeworthy stuff - I agree. Although - I don't think it is as bad as those moronic Dockers who let fireworks off at 2.40pm before a game. Very odd!o_O

They are odd people anyway. They are the crazy uncle. Well crazy younger cousin.

The Capt Club luncheon a few years ago where they got a MC who treated the attendees like he was talking to a commercial radio morning show was so cringeworthy too. They didn't know their audience. Last luncheon of those that I went to.

I went to a couple and thought they were too expensive for what they offered.

Basically all of the seats that I had an eye on have been taken so far and our window doesn't open till the 20th. We just want to be in the front row like we've been for 16 years and I don't think I can see a single seat available. It wouldn't be so bad if our allocated seats were even remotely similar to our current seats, but 1/2 up in the top tier is just about as far away as possible from the front row on ground level. Pretty pissed off about all of this.
Wait and see. The seats we gave up were good seats, 50m arc row 10 etc but we wanted to be dead centre and so happy we were able to secure them. You will find as people like us give up these seats they will come up available.

My window opens at 3pm tomorrow. I wish to change my seat as they have me in Block 310 with that concrete divider between the members and the VIP section which means I won't be able to see the whole Oval by my understanding and also don't fancy having to climb over umpteen dozen people before reaching my seat. As I don't have access to a desktop and only familiar with Apple not sure how I will go on my IPad as WCE state you need a desktop. Due to this, does this mean I will have to contact the Membership office to organise an appointment to change my seat?
If WCE say you need a desktop, then you obviously won't go well on your iPad. If you need to access a desktop you can go to your local library. Give it a test first, though. I don't know if any libraries have Macs, so if you absolutely don't know how to use a PC, then you don't have any other options than to contact the club. I'm sure they have people set up to help as judging by our member base there are probably tens of thousands who don't even know what a computer is.

But you should sort this out sooner rather than later; I saw you ask this question last week.

Got the offer to move from dead centre on the wing to the 50m line. After 20 odd years in prime viewing position will be doing everything possible to get back to the middle of the action.

Mission achieved. Back to the near identical position I was as Subi. Not sure why I couldn't have been offered this in the first place (as a 30 year member).

Just wanted clarification but thanks anyway.

We have been allocated section 523 row 3 for 6 seats.
For those who have had their window open as mine opens on Friday what are the chances of me being able to move 6 seats more central in the ground?
Will it be possible or should I just take what I have?
Any feedback would be appreciated.

No harm in waiting to have a look, so don't accept until the end.

If I were in your position - I would spend at least 30 minutes prior to your window opening to look around and see what is available.

At this point in time block 518 looks like this. It is central :)

Thanks, how do you see what is available and what is not before your window opens?

You have to be the group leader. If you are then click this link;

https://membership.westcoasteagles.com.au/upgrade-process

1. Click on preview.

Welcome Screen.jpg

2. Check the button near your seat allocation and then click continue.

3. Wait for the screen to render and load.

4. Hold your cursor over a block and it will tell you how many seats left in that block.

5. Click on the block and you can see where those available seats are.

The rest is easy.:D As you can see I have 1 day to go!:thumbsu:

Doesn't look all that promising for my seats... still can't believe that we got moved from the 2nd row on the 50 to the 4th from back row in the top tier... good work West Coast

Similar story.. 6th row from the centre wing to literal back row in the top tier. I don’t understand how that is seemingly reasonable. Not a large group either only 2 seats. Friend who was “in the wings” got better seats (I’m a member since 2003).

I’m waiting for my seat secure window to see if I can get something decent but if we can’t my mother who I sit with is in favour of letting the membership go and I’m 50/50. Not impressed with the allocation.

I do have to admit the virtual venue and way to select seats is decent. And fair being that it’s by years of membership. My issue is the placeholder seats being so random. Why couldn’t you just pick your seats without placeholder? My issue is seeing in the wings members getting better seats than me in placeholder so even if my window is before them it’s unavailable. I guess I can see if I can move to places where early secure window people have moved.

Huge undertaking so I get that not everyone’s happy but literal back row of the whole stadium!!!

I haven't heard on any "In The Wings" members being allocated yet - in fact people have been told they will have to wait until as late as Feb.
