So I got my tickets for the Derby in Round 6. They are Category 3 tickets situated at isle 547 Row 13 - do you guys know where abouts on the ground that would be???

#excited

I was isle 47893 at the MCG for Carlton v Collingwood at the weekend, dog shit game and viewing experience. Dont get the MCG wank personally. Up in the cheap seats is far worse than watching the game at home.

Looking forward to getting back home and checking out the new stadium soon fam

I'm a flexi member and I reserved my seats for the Gold Coast game (even though I probably didn't have to for this one). I did this on Tuesday, the BS $5.75 "handling fee" has been taken out of my account (well, authorisation only still, but I know the card works cos I've used it plenty of times since) and the tickets haven't yet been emailed to me.

Anyone know how long this usually takes?

Interesting report from K. Hagdorn this morning. Acrylic to be installed over the top of the LED lighting at Optus and was saying they will pull the boundary in by 1m.

Seems ridiculous that no thought was given to players contacting the fence prior to the injuries the cats players suffered.

Needs retractable spikes installed.

In all seriousness, the ground meets current AFL requirements - I wouldn't be moving boundaries.

I don't think they should move the boundary at all either.

If the LED lights are pointy it was an error to not have them covered. Blizcavs needed 9 stitches which is not good enough.
Find it weird there is the issue at Perth Stadium, given the exact same signage is used at every other ground? Is Acrylic used over the signage at other grounds?

I did this for Geelong game. Chose print at home, tickets dropped into My Ticketmaster within couple hours.

Good with the boundary moved in maybe spectators can swe the whole ground now. Always missed that final metre up on level 5

But why isn’t it glass like the other two levels? Would make more sense, less obstructed and more aesthetic
Probably because on the top two levels there's little chance of a players heads colliding with a glass fence at high speed.

May have something to do with not installing glass at ground level. The fences start about 4'6" above ground level so with most afl players being well over six foot that would put their heads right in the middle.

Nothing softer than the cushioning support of a steel bar to the bonce.

It's the same on level 1 - can't see the boundary in front of you.

I'd say it's an issue for most of the ground, so moving the boundary line will be good for spectators

Emailed Ticketmaster and they emailed them to me directly within 30min. Can't complain! Then got an email from the club to say due to high demand, it's now fully reserved, so I'm really glad I sorted this on on Tuesday! Should have built a bigger stadium if Gold Coast can sell it out ;)

Excitement levels INCREASING!!!

They always send the fully reserved emails on thursdays no matter how fast theyre selling. Good to see you got your tickets sorted though.

Either your a dumb campaigner or a troll.

Nothing I’ve said is to do with other stadiums
Go checkout the cost of fence panels made of glass and those made of steel. 3-4 times the cost. Waste of money as i have no doubt that eventually the fence will have a second double layer of led fencing in front of it (or fixed advertising)
