Nobody is lampooning the soldiers or bashing them, most respect them and what they have done immensely. So you’re way off there or just hang around people who are anti military.At least my response made sense. Yours doesn't.

They’re not banned at all, they are restricted.
You can show alcohol advertising on tv;
After 6pm during sports programs on weekends and public holidays
12-3pm on school days
8.30pm - 5am all other days
So not banned at all, just restricted.
I’d be happy for gambling ads to have similar restrictions.
Butters
I can tell you for a fact many American would spit in their faces or knock them on their arses if they saw that. terrorism attacks are not a subject of fun or mockery. In surprised they didn’t dress up as the Hamas terrorists while they were at it and the Israel babies while they were at it since you think that’s not too badSeems impossible 2 people dressed as towers could re-enact such an event but you've obviously done your homework on it to be this offended.

Cool story, we don't live in America.I can tell you for a fact many American would spit in their faces or knock them on their arses if they saw that. terrorism attacks are not a subject of fun or mockery
Yes, they would. The same way that a lot of Jewish people would knock your head off for a holocaust joke, or Maddy McCann's relatives would for a Maddy joke.I can tell you for a fact many American would spit in their faces or knock them on their arses if they saw that. terrorism attacks are not a subject of fun or mockery
Never said that, odd interpretationCool story, we don't live in America.
Glad you think that physical violence is an appropriate response.
Comedy = tragedy + time
Oh God yes. "I've always loved you", right as the car plummets from the bridgeDad's Army and the Blues Brothers too, Nazism was so nonthreatening at the time it was seen only as worthy of satire and mockery. Nobody considered that it might actually be taken seriously again.
No need at all to speak for the others. It's easy to see from the tone of their posting, which snowflakes are resentful or annoyed at the fines and suspensions handed out.
Never mind him, what about Samuel L Jackson? He's the one who really has some questions to answer about that character he played in DjangoDillon should send a note to Jamie Foxx, asking him to show cause for portraying a slave.
The Death of Stalin is a fantastic film and only gets better with re-watching.If that's the case, movies such as the Death of Stalin have no place in modern culture. Yet they are produced.
A time and place to joke about a terrorist bombing a tower?? Can’t imagine this great timing for it. Some things just aren’t appropriate for humor due to the sick nature of it. You can try all you want, but you will probably be that weirdo or loser people look down on. Each to their own.Yes, they would. The same way that a lot of Jewish people would knock your head off for a holocaust joke, or Maddy McCann's relatives would for a Maddy joke.
But none of this means these things can never be joked about, ever. For every topic, there is a time, a treatment, and a place.
You don't think anyone has ever made a 9/11 joke? Are you new to the internet?A time and place to joke about a terrorist bombing a tower?? Can’t imagine this great timing for it. You said they were banned, they aren’t. They also aren’t banned on the apps as far as I’m aware.They are banned from displaying those ads during those times. If your argument is only over "restricted" or "banned" we are probably done.

I hear people joking about race, rape, assault all sorts of things. Whether it is appropriate or right time or place is another conversationYou don't think anyone has ever made a 9/11 joke? Are you new to the internet?
You were a military man?? My respect goes out to you bro if that’s what you meantI did over a decade.
I'm highly offended by his anti-snake materialNever mind him, what about Samuel L Jackson? He's the one who really has some questions to answer about that character he played in Django![]()
It was held at the Woolly Bay Hotel, which is a pub. Just don't ask people what the word 'pub' stands for.I think some of the people covering the story are being very loose with the term “private”.
Now I’m no fancy big-city lawyer but I think that an event held on the premises of another business, under the auspices of their liquor license, insurance, policies etc as well as some interactions with their staff (whether that is management, bar staff, security, cleaners, caterers etc) who are entitled to certain degrees of workplace safety, can’t really been seen as a truly “private” event.
Pickett hasn't been found guilty of anything yet, which is why the AFL never sanctioned him.I'm not particularly comfortable with players making light of dometic violence & rape but handing down the penalties like they have, once again, the AFL has shown how inconsistent & selective they are with their actions.
If we look back over the past 5-10 years, there has been numerous incidents where players have been photographed snorting white powder and in the case of Marlion Pickett, was found guilty of assault & armed robbery yet the AFL turned a blind eye at every chance.
Punching up vs punching down matters as well.The Death of Stalin is a fantastic film and only gets better with re-watching.
But the difference is that (a) it's done by a brilliantly talented comedic writer and a wonderful veteran cast who know how to make Stalin and his reign of terror the butt of the joke, and (b) you make the choice to pay money and walk it to watch a satire of Stalinist Russia, and have no right to complain about being offended.
