TIMELINE

Thursday 16 February:
Service revolver obtained for user pays event. Was stored at mother's as per regulations.

Sunday 19 February: User pays event.

Monday 20 February: The murders at Baird's Paddington rental.

Monday 19 February: Police have alleged gunshots were heard from a house in Paddington, Sydney in the morning. Four minutes after the first shots were fired there was a 000 call made from Jessie's phone around 9.45am, but it disconnected. Police said there was "no communication" during that call.

Monday evening: Police have alleged Lamarre-Condon hired a white Hiace van from Sydney Airport.

Tuesday 20 February: Police have alleged that partial admissions were made by Lamarre-Condon to an acquaintance of having been involved in the death of two individuals.

Service revolver was returned to Balmain & later transferred to original storage.

Wednesday 21 February: Bloodied clothing belonging to both victims and an $8000 watch were found in a skip bin in the southern Sydney suburb of Cronulla. Police launch a missing persons investigation and the homicide unit is notified

Later same Wednesday: Police have alleged Lamarre-Condon attended the Bungonia area with an acquaintance who police believed assisted him in purchasing an angle grinder and padlock from a local hardware store in that area, before driving to a rural property in Bungonia.

Police said the "small" angle grinder was used to sever a padlock from the gate of that particular rural property and then that padlock was replaced with a padlock purchased from the hardware store.

The acquaintance was left at the top of the property for 30 minutes. The accused disappeared for that period in the Hiace van, returning to pick up the acquaintance and then they returned to Sydney later that afternoon. Police said the acquaintance was assisting them in their inquiries, that she is not a suspect, and they believe she was an "innocent agent".

Wednesday 11pm: Police have said that evening, weights were purchased from a department store by the accused and it is believed that the accused returned to that rural property overnight and during that evening, having also acquired two torches from the acquaintance.

Thursday 22 February: Police have alleged they can place the accused leaving the Bungonia area again at 4.30am. "It would appear that the accused has remained in the city area, still in control of the white Hiace van, before attending a further acquaintance's premises in the Newcastle area and without fully disclosing any criminality, asked access to a hose to clean that van," Hudson said.

Friday 23 February: At 10.39am, Lamarre-Condon presents himself at Bondi Police Station where he was arrested and subsequently charged.

Someone's keys went missing? Or he used a tool to get one cut, he had a key made.
I don't know what you're saying.. I was just replying to those who thought it was strange/interesting/unusual that Lamarre had a key and queried why police alleged that he did.

Lamarre very easily could have had a key to Jesse's house..from when he was dating Jesse, knew where spares were kept, had one cut at any time prior to the murders...

The police may know or assume he could have used a key via a variety of sources..a witness, no obvious break ins, Jesse telling friends he thought Lamarre had a key, etc etc.

Which is essentially what I said.

I've also drawn attention to cops tools of the trade in here before, which includes lock picks or if he wants, a code cutter.

The cops might have also found the key, after all he was careless enough to leave a spent shell lying around at Jesse's house.

So it’s safe to assume she has gone to the police when she realised what she has been dragged into and that’s how they know about the Goulburn farm?

And he should be put into general population until he gives up the location of the victims.
No it's not safe to assume that.
1/the hired van probably had tracking and GPS that would have been down loaded.
2/they said she was co-operative, an innocent party and that is all they said.

Did you see Kurve that I added this to the time line after the first posting so info is also clear on these points:

Gun was obtained on the Thursday 16/2 by LC for 'use' at 'outside event'
Suposedly kept in gun safe at mothers property in Balmain as per regs.
Event was Sunday.
Murder was Monday
Gun was returned to Balmain Police station Tuesday and then transfered to the police station where it was initially got from.

Police knew on Wednesday that a serving police officer was involved but asked the press to keep quiet on that fact as they feared self harm or that evidence would be destroyed.

Some cleaning of the house had taken place between the murders and the renting of the van.

Ref; Police Press conference.

Also Police stopped searching the dams at the property in Goulburn at 2pm with the search completed and no luck.
They took away for forensic examination the punt (boat).

As they said in the Press conf. they have a working theory that he returned and moved the bodies.
I hope that the GPS, tracking, cctv, traffic cameras or a witness will come forward to fill in the gap.

I don’t understand how anyone can believe this.
Well it does sound dodgy, doesn’t it. I wonder what tale he spun to get her to go and buy the tools, then leave her at the gate of the property for 30 minutes by herself.

So the reason he wasn't giving up the location of the bodies was to protect his accomplice? Can't make sense of it.
His lawyer (and experience in cop interviews) would tell him not to give any information - “No comment.”

Surely his lawyer would already know the evidence is overwhelmingly against him.. wouldn't he be advising him to do the right thing and maybe lessen his sentence by telling police where Jesse & Luke are.

Of course, that doesn't mean Lamarre would take that advice. He seems so totally delusional & controlling that I doubt he'd be taking advice from anyone.

No the lawyer advises their client on the best defense for them. That advise would be no comment. Unless the client wants to make a statement. The lawyer is not there for the crown, the people or the police just there for the client. As hard as that might be to fathom.

Lockpicks leave tool marks I believe. The absence of those would indicate either an unlocked/opened door or use of a key.

No they don’t Truck. Also as an aside the police have a small locksmithing division in Sydney. He would be sneaky enough to obtain a key imo.

His lawyer's role is also to provide guidance & support, negotiate, provide available options that serves their clients best interests..a plea bargain, for example, to lessen his sentence if he starts to co-operate & has revealed where Jesse & Luke are.

Can only imagine what was going through her mind… imagine driving out into the middle of nowhere with a friend who likely seemed off and him just leaving you out there. I wonder if she thought he was actually going to come back to pick her up.

And why did he need her at all. Except to purchase the p/l and grinder. !!

Critical incident declared following double murder investigation - Paddington

Monday, 26 February 2024 06:14:07 PM

On Friday 23 February 2024, a critical incident was declared by the NSW Police Force regarding an investigation following the alleged murders of Luke Davies and Jesse Baird at Paddington, in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.

This critical incident has already been the subject of extensive media reporting.

The NSWPF notified the Law Enforcement Conduct Commission (LECC) shortly after the critical incident was declared.

Investigations under Strike Force Ashfordby continue. A 28-year-old man has been charged with two counts of murder. He remains before the Courts.

A critical incident team from the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad will investigate all circumstances surrounding the incident.

The LECC is independently monitoring the NSWPF critical incident investigation under Part 8 of the Law Enforcement Conduct Commission Act 2016, to ensure public confidence in the investigation.

The investigation will also be reviewed by the NSW Police Force Professional Standards Command.

Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers: 1800 333 000 or https://nsw.crimestoppers.com.au. Information is treated in strict confidence. The public is reminded not to report information via NSW Police social media pages.

No on websleuths they are saying the same. there is a reduced version only. Maybe they released too much info or it is in someway predjudicial.

No.
The video has both disappeared from my YouTube accounts history listing, and is not longer found on YouTube.
The message that comes up when you click on the link is a YouTube site message saying the video has been made private.
Nothing Bigfooty has done.

And I am not the only one who has noticed this. I was made aware of this from someone else complaining about its removal from public view on another forum.

I was about to post a big round of applause post in here for that media conference.

With the Commissioner and her Deputy Hudson and media providing a very high level of detail and some very good questions and answers. More than I thought we might get at this stage of a Police investigation.

Obviously with his history of being a “celebrity blogger” this could be a way that his name is forever remembered?

Certainly won’t be famous - maybe he settled for infamous.
