Has anyone heard anything on F.Preist from Benalla? i know he is a freak but is under 16, was he any chance to get on the list?

So the question is - do you rather see 'quality talls' and 'exciting flanker types' or half a dozen 170-175cm on ballers in each side?

Don't think either will attract too much attention at draft level. I think the bushies stuffed up with their 2 19yr old selections. A lack of height may have forced them to keep Hebbard on the list. They are both good players, good is not the standard that AFL look at. Look at last years draft, neither of these boys would have anywhere near the skills and abilites of any of last years draftees. They would both struggle for consistent performances at VFL level. May develop into solid GVFL players.

Forget Walker, he is soft and an empty head. Laracy and Daniels should definitly get a chance next game, and would bring pace and enthusiasm into a dull side. Also, what do you do with McIntyre, word is he has had a massive dummy spit after being challenged by the coach. After that sort of loss the coach will do 1 of 2 things. He will make a few changes or he will keep the same side. Will be interesting to see what he does. I had a look at the match stats on the TAC Cup site and there was a lot of poor returns. The highest achiever was some guy called "ineffective".

because i have trained and played with him and all he did was talk himself up like one time i was at a camp and i was rooming with him and we talked and wonderd how would we go and his response was like this "oh yea i reckon il go good as 2morro, but i dont know about you" from then on i thought u ********! if anyone read his AIS profile his out of the whole players a big write saying how he made his senior debut at 16 years old and he won all this awards and how u will make AFL.. piss weak effort who i hope doesn't achieve anything!

Saker is a quality player and is very qucik for his size, runs hard out of defence and has the 2nd or 3rd quickest 20m sprint in the team, very good choice as a 19yr old this year.

Watch Euroa v Mansfield yesterday and a few of the bushies boys played in the seniors.

Giovannini (Euroa) got a few touches but also was off the ground a few times. Did a few good things but not really a dominant player in any respect. Looks like a player of the futire though.

Browne (Mansfield) struggled as a key forward in the first half. Moved into ruck after half time and tried hard but didn't get a lot of the ball. Seems a different player to last year, did not take more then a couple of marks. Bad day for him.

Mahoney (Mansfield) The best of the bushies. Got a lot of the ball in the first half when he was very dangerous as a small forward/wing. Showed great speed and disposal. Went quiet after half time.

Don't think that these three will solve any of the bushies problems next week. Mahoney may add some speed and class around the ground. I would also include Daniels who is super quick and it top form with practice matches.

Yes you are right he does run hard and plays a good game of footy. The reason I suggested he was not a good choice as an overage is that I don't think that he is good enough to be drafted and the bushies is all about creating draft picks. No doubt he is a very good player but is he good enough to be a rookie, I suppose we will have to wait and see.

He is a very good player and showed that last year, the bushies arnt all about draft picks they are also about playing good footy and playing finals.

That sounds like tim..lol...yeh i think he's gonna hav a few weeks off bushies for a while an play with corowa an come back when he feels like it..he played alright by all reports on the weekend...3 goals an 20+ touches...added bonus for the roos!!

why would he have a few weeks off, he is a big chance to get drafted and i wouldnt think that the AFL clubs would be happy with this wen they look at him, his got everything goin and he just pisses off for a while, he wont go straight back into the team after a few weeks off u would think.

heard deledio is a chance to miss this week.

No farren is only on the 16 list might get a run when the interstate carnival is on and bushies give a couple of 16's a run.He's a quality player but size might hurt him . exceptional skills pace and judgement will make it interesting come draft time for him
 
Anyone know of a Steele sidebottom u16 bushie and Jack ziebell u16 bushie heard a couple of recruiters from hawthorn mention thier names at the metro u16 trials yesterday.
