Whats the latest you've heard Wingman?? I'm up in Mt Isa and have been a little disconnected on news back there?
the lad from tiwi bombers has started training with rumba I have it on good grounds hes very talented! also hearing new recruit reid crowe finished first in a 2km time trial! finley must be a little annoyed they lost him! another Darwin bloke signed , cupido also talking to another big man from down Melbourne way looks like he might be going for the mix of fast small players plus some tall timber aswell

What is the general feeling about the loss of Tocumwal? Will the league be able to cope OK?

Yeh, I followed the cats, their GF side actually had 6 blokes who played for Palmerston! It was an interesting year up there with Cupido kicking a ton and ouyen still not making finals and Beulah spending truckloads and not making the big one.

Pierce Liddle is one of the best players up here, and another Cupido has spoken to. He has some history in the area, having come 3rd in Shep United's b&f a few years ago. Doubt he'll go, but would be a great get for Rumba, won the last 3 b&f's at Palmerston and highly sought after by NT Thunder.
Yeah he is as hard as they come..Got knocked out in the first ten minutes of the grand final and sat most the game out but came on in the last and still had an influence..Very good player..What else is news around the murray, What are the ladder predictions at this early stage..Rumba to start as favorites?

One loss for Rumba is Ryan Hudson who has signed with Elmore

I thought he was going to be in Darwin anyways, but Ryan has been a good contributer during his time with Rumba and i dare say everyone wishes him well at his new club. I'm sure he'll have an impact.

As for ladder predictions, i thing it'll be the usual suspects at the pointy end, being United a long way out in front, followed by Mul, then Numurkah, Deni, Moama and Congupna fighting for 6th, then i beleive you could throw a blanket over Rumba and the rest of the compitition.

I haven't heard much from rumba latlely can anyone inform me on how all the recruits are doing, is it really true Ryan Hudson has decided to part ways with rumba??? as for mul 20 players would proberbly be the ones that either are money hungry or are the players that can't make the side

read previous posts you will have all the rumba news ;) honestly dont see hudson as a big loss for rumba at all and id say they are not to worried about losing him either.. struggled to make any impact what so ever! Goodgolly what would hudsons best finish in the clubs b&f be in the past 2 seasons in a side that has struggled?

hudson not the only guy to leave the club aswell! from what i hear there are many of the local boys who are not happy at rumba and will be leaving if they havnt already.. there recruits will be great for the club but i doubt there will be many local boys hanging around..

Sorry boys, been on holidays......
Honestly I think Huddo was a good contributer and I don't want to nor do I have a reason to speak Ill of him now he might be leaving the club. As for his best and fairest finishes I'm pretty sure he finished in the top 6 in both years.

As for players leaving, there's been a few more then I would have liked. Some even after they had recommitted to this coming season. but thats the difference money can make.
But none have expressed they were leaving out of a fall out with the club or anyone in it as far as I'm aware. And everyone that has left are good friends of mine and others at the club and are welcome back anytime.

Have other clubs started their training again yet??

And what is Barooga upto again????? Is Robbo likely to be going around for them again this season?

Can you fill us in on the reason for the mass exodus from Mul. 20 odd players is a huge loss for any club.

8-10 headed to whgunyah with Nick the coaching out their and finishing his tenure at the Lions, the 4 hoppers boys are headed back in Oliver and co. 5 headed to Toc with the reserves coach getting the senior coaching role in their inaugural year in the Picola League. More movements with a few also set to join The premiership side Tunga. 2 or 3 are also set to head back Benalla direction with the saints on the up.

Yep, and also Hudson to Elmore I think, D Morgan to Picola. I'm sure there'll be 1 or two more that I've forgotten.

But to be fair, Levi moved to Canberra, Eric got an offer to good to knock back and we couldn't ever get close to that, and Ash miller has been a great servant to the club and financially wants to explore other options. Hopefully they might all be back one day ;)

Congupna will be thereabouts again, pushing for finals.
Recruits -dan collyer (mooroopna), Harry Moran, jack Ellis, Keiran Sheehan (benalla saints), Jo Dwyer (deer park), and a name I've forgotten.. Was on hawthorns list but got delisted due to commitment issues. Speedy aboriginal who will add a lot of class to the midfield.
Departures- Kaine greening (mooroopna), josh pierce (retired), Matthew hodgetts (shep east), Lachlan Sidebottom (Braybrook)

With chances of the quality of the u17 grand final team from 2012 returning, congupna are looking alright going into 2014.

Good to see Barooga and rumba recruiting well, after a few years in a struggle, it's good to see Barooga on the rise given that it used to be one of the better clubs. Would hate to see another club turn into tocumwal.
