Deni, all local boys come through the junior ranks at some time.
Have to agree about Numurka, great effort playing all uncontracted players, seems to have stimulated some good support too.

All bar Brett Napier i think, But even he was from Blighty (15 minutes away) its been a great effort from the Deniliquin guys. With such a young side. Blokes like Jordan, Tyndal, Gallagher and more have been great in there 1st years. Dan Maher will make his debut on Saturday. Dan did his knee about 3 weeks beofre the start of this season got an op and is now in the 1st. Hopefully the lads can make a huge dent in the next 5 or so weeks.....:thumbsu:

Big effort from deni. Dont see them doing much damage in finals had soft draw and ran into better sides when they had key personelle missing. Just my opinion don't rate them. Cob, moama for mine.

Just been informed that Luke Jarjoura From Shepparton Football Club has signed on as coach for Numurkah for season 2012......

What do pple think of united maybe goin to heathcote district next year or 2013 prez Max told hdfl no but have herd that he may not have been speaking what his committee were thinking

Tragic news of the sudden death of the MFL Executive Member and Ex Mulwala President Brian McKee. It is believed Brian suffered a fatal heart attack.

Brian was a fantastic person, who gave so much to others, his commitment to Mul is well known. He was also very passionate about Interleague his input and presence not to mention wit will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Sympathy to his wife Martha and family at this sad time.

Shocking news, only met him through a few interleague campaigns and he was a fantastic bloke who called it as he seen it and was well respected by all who took part in those interleague campaigns.

I wonder if the club watched this guy play or just got caught up in the fact that he kicked goals against the poorer sides.

Not sure if Mooroopna are a poor side? Kicked 9 that day. We @ swans were very keen to keep him, his input with the younger ones was definately missed this year, we definately could have used him. If it wasn't for injury big red would have won the league goal kicking, not bad in a bottom team that didn't win a game last year! And from what I saw of him (the only game bears played against us he kicked 8) the delivery wasn't very crash hot!

I suggest you get a copy of today's Shep news. You don't have to read between the lines to get a clearer picture!:p

He will be a handy player, no doubt. but certainly not coaching material at all. also i see that Angus Grigg was not named again this week against mulwala. Any moama people like to give us the update ? Mulwala with Robinson, Hargreave and Parker back, will be a great game.
Tips:
Moama 17 points
Finley 5 points

Awesome display by Mulwala, disappointing performance by Moama

Totally agree with you Bluesfan, I thought that Mul played an exceptional game and evertything went their way. Things didnt go well for Moama all game, their disposal was off the mark all game, and they just couldnt match the run of Mul. Same thing Yesterday with Rumba, I thought that they handballed too much and didnt use the footy by foot as much as they should have. But well done to both sides on their wins....

Heard today that numurkah has sacked newly appointed coach jarjarua already???? Anyone from the blues confirm this:confused:

I have just been informed by a Watters employee that Jarjoura got the sack from Watters last week due to putting false hours on his time sheets. He was working in Bendigo but wasnt going and sending his work mates texts to tell them he wasnt going but still put those hours as worked on his timesheets. Apparently 8 or more days worth. Very Honest of you LUKE.......

What a great man to be leading your football club  good luck numurkah, i think you might need it...........

Heard he is currently in custody on fraud for that matter. Also charged with drug possession, sexual assault & weapons charges. Must be a really bad person. Definitely don't want him at your club! Bring back the death penalty

The allocation of finals to the various clubs in this comp is a complete and utter farce.

What is wrong with simply playing the finals at the best grounds? Surely something can be worked re gate/bar/food takings, and manpower.

No offence intended to either club, but Tongala?!?! Deniliquin?!?! Hosting showcase finals!! FMD!! Terrible grounds and dreadful facilities... and they want people from all around the district to attend... it's decisions like this that is embarrassing to the league. Potential recruits into the comp will not look favourably upon it.

FFS leave them at Barooga, Toc and at a stretch Cobram. Best grounds, best facilities, best atmosphere, will draw the best crowds.
