Apparantly Citizen Erased has been getting a bit of play lately. And Bliss. Either one of those would keep me happy for the rest of my life...Hopefully will secure tickets on monday. The setlists floating about don't have enough old tracks, but I still want to see the band that got me into music for the first time.
We'll be guaranteed New Born and Stockholm Syndrome I'd say. Any of the other three would be awesome, but I won't be holding my breath.Five tracks I want to see played :Citizen Erased, New Born, Muscle Museum, Stockhom Syndrome and Dead Star.
They sometimes play Unintended. They don't play Muscle Museum anymore cos Matt lost his special pedal.
By special I mean...there is literally...none left in the world.
But would cry if I heard it live!
Plug In Baby, Feeling Good, Citizen Erased, New Born, Time Is Running Out, Stockholme Syndrome, Knights, Invincible...would make me a happy man. They don't play songs from Showbiz anymore do they? Would love to here Uno, Showbiz or Unintended live...
Even though I've lost interest in Muse a bit I still love Showbiz so much. Awesome song.Imagine Showbiz.... oh jaysus....
December 15th at Rod Laver isn't sold out yet, in Silver anyway. Tempted to go again but thats a long way to go.^ Reading the above post makes me want to go now. The setlists look a lot better than I expected.
'The Resistance' is a pretty average album, but I've been reminiscing about the four times I've seen them and tbh, I'm seriously considering going on ebay for a ticket.
This post just made me buy tickets to their Rod Laver shows. Both nights. Can't wait.So so so glad I went both nights in Brisbane. First night I got barrier on Matt's side, and although the setlist was pretty basic, it was still amazing. Stockholm Syndrome and Map of the Problematique being highlights.
I had bought seats for the second night, only because I knew the setlist would be different, but I never would have thought it would be that different! MK Ultra, Butterflies and Hurricanes, Sunburn (holy **** Sunburn!) and then closing the main set with Extended Bliss.
At that point, I thought the encore would be Plug in Baby, Stockholm and Take a Bow, and that would be it. And then out of nowhere, the opening bars of Citizen Erased came on, and flipped my shit like a 12 year old at a Bieber concert. It was the most amazing thing I'd ever heard.
Everyone going around Australia, I hope you have tickets for the second night of your respective cities, because you are in for something special.
I think their recent setlists look terrible, I wish I got to see them back in their Absolution days.

I'd go even further back to the post-OoS performances.
****, that would have been sweet.
