Looks like North, Carlton, Geelong, Port and Gold Coast will play the most rookies at the moment.Yes. That is my point. Rookies are by definition borderline best 22 in most established teams. The only time that hasn't been the case is when the Giants, Suns and Bombers were playing a bunch of kids over the past 4-5 years.
Pretty good
I also like it... i just realised about this round 9 bye thing where gold coast and port dont play which makes me rethink barlow and hall and look at getting them after there bye

The issue with Hall is that if his season plays out like last year, he'll burst out of the blocks and then slow down in the middle of the season.
If you want Hall, I think you have to start with him.

Based on his JLT form, he's ready to go as well
He's in my team. Haven't checked my teams byes yet. So that could be really bad.He most certainly is.

I've gone a very similar strategy in regards to formation and basically have the same starting midfield, but the difference really is you've gone Zerrett and Taranto, I've got Matt Crouch and Jack Steele instead.
I like Gaff, could score like a Hunter/Hannebery type this year I feelYeah I have considered moving Zerrett onto Gaff and then making a forward change as you suggested. Would most likely give me more points on ground, something to think on.
Tuohy could work out, Wellingham, Jack and Jones are more suss than him imo.
Not a fan of the Jack or Wellingham picks at all. Sharif is not consistent enough to be a RDT player usually and Jack I think has his best years in the past.
Wellingham down to Hampton gives you plenty of cash to upgrade Jack to an uber premium. Or you could turn him in to Matt Crouch and bump one of your rucks to someone you'll keep for the whole season.

I would upgrade Tuohy to a proper premium, and downgrade Wellingham to a rookie.
Use the remaining cash to upgrade Jack to a better mid
Thanks for your input - I haven't even looked at the rules regarding trades etc lol...trying to wing it as much as I canSignificantly
So what your saying is Watson will average under 80? I doubt it personallyI don't think Watson will come close to warranting his price. And Pendlebury has Achilles soreness... could be worth looking at his redheaded teammate.

I reckon he'll average 85-90. But it's a pointless pick for that amount of money in the midfield for someone to average that much.
