Haven't had many issues with the first half, moved the ball really well at points on the counter which is much improved.

Really impressed by Varcoes work rate. The amount of times where he's been involved 2 or three times in one bit of play, and it's not just quick handball receives either.

That quarter we were out worked. Beaten in centre clearances easily, beaten at stoppages, missed tackles, sloppy fwd fifty entry. Same as second quarter last week. Defence looks shaky. Langers looked very rusty, Maynard in the play with plenty of touches but playing like a newbie ( he is) and Marsh outsized. Can see we miss Brown and Williams and then of course in the middle Sidey, De Goey, Swan and Treloar. We will need to get the ball out the middle as it is happening again far too easily and the opposition are getting stacks of easy entries. North dominate d that quarter. We dropped off in most areas. There were plenty of hints from last year. Let's see what happens with a few changes after half time. Still well in the game but North look more experienced.

I'd say we're still lacking a crumbing forward on the forward line.If our forwards don't mark it then we always seem to lose it on the ground.

Probably agree with most of this, but we got back in front. North certainly looked better that term, but couldn't hold their lead. Good work by us to get it back again.
