His best and his worst are poles apart. A few years back he was getting regular games but unless half our list gets injured he won't play. His efforts as sub was not up to par so he can't play that role either.

Let him run around with the two's if he wants but I don't think he should be on our list next year.

kicked 29 and 34 goals in the 2 years previous as well as averaging close to 20. His attitude seemed pretty poor this year and it was by far his worst after building and improving for a couple of years. Keeping him on wouldn't be a bad idea, given that we lack small forwards and perhaps he will pull his finger out and start producing again. being realistic, we know that he has played to at least a reasonable standard in the afl (playing through the middle too) which is more than any pick 80+ in a poor draft is likely to do.

I'm pretty surprised that one of the bottom clubs hasn't snapped him up, 2 seasons in a row he kicked over 30 goals proving he is up to the level and able to make an impact at afl. He may not have been able to force his way into a side that won 15 games. Not to say he wouldn't figure in teams like melb , saints et al
Good post Bo.. I'm surprised at the level of disdain for him TBH..
Kicked some pretty handy goals over the years and has some reasonable footy left in him.
If no trade keep for another year, I have no problem with that at all

Kicked 34 goals only two seasons ago and 29 the season before. Also had great tackle count. Reckon if he had the right attitude you could get 40 goals out of him, just not sure if thats at richmond.

Nahas was a good opportunistic small forward in a mediocre/average team but as we have improved, he lacks the defensive side to his game that is now demanded from small forwards in top teams. He has not been able to move into the mid field to compensate for this deficiency as he does not have a big enough body to break tackles. I love his effort, he gives everything, but unfortunately it looks like he hasn't got the physical gifts to progress.....

List clogger
Too easily knocked off the ball
Time to move on and draft a kid with potential who could be asset going forward instead of a liability

Gone. The guys we have been willing to keep as mature depth haven't been sooks about it and are good blokes, Orren, Luke, Lonergan etc.

Yeah this is how I see it, Nahas is his own worst enemy, he probably rates himself and thinks he deserves more opportunities than guys like Kingy, but doesn't do the hard work and put himself on the line. Change his attitude with guys like Choco in his ear and I think he can become very dangerous. When he first came into our "average" side years ago everyone was so excited to see him after watching him in vfl and he was exciting. For mind he is no super star and never will be but can be damaging to oppositions if he gets his head right.

I'm not a fan and if he doesn't get picked up by any of the other 17 clubs during the trade period I believe it's an accurate reflection of what the competition thinks of him. He could be of value in our VFL team next year, but I think the Tiges should move on as far as the senior list is concerned.

Where's this attitude thing come from? Was it the Carlton game where he looked disinterested as sub? Because he's not the only one, plus he hadn't yet been told to warm up, it could've simply been a mis-communication.
Or did I miss something through the year?
