If there were more Nats like Darren the party wouldn't be such a pathetic laughing stock.

It's quite disturbing having a cretin as 2IC.
Littleproud is horribly conflicted - the Nats federally are an absolute basket case - they stand for noughtNow that McCormack is in the rearview mirror, the next Nat War is between the Beetrooter and Littleproud.
Rift between top Nationals ministers over inland rail
A five-page document arguing the case for changing the inland rail route through Queensland was circulated among several Queensland Coalition MPs about 10 days ago.www.brisbanetimes.com.au
I agree with Littleproud on this one. Moving goods slightly faster is not a good reason to destroy prime agricultural land and piss off farming communities, when there's already a rail corridor between Goondiwindi and Toowoomba that can be upgraded.
He’s out-Paulining Pauline.No-one's asking you to denounce Satan you moron, just to accept science. Phukck me what a clown.
"Australia's greatest retail politician" my enormous purple butt.
Barnaby Joyce declares he won’t be ‘bullied’ on climate science
Australia’s deputy prime minister likened questioning of his stance on global heating to a baptism where parents were required to ‘denounce Satan’www.theguardian.com
He's got the Pantsdown part right, anywayHe’s out-Paulining Pauline.
Remember how they ****en carried on like 5 years olds when Labor and the Greens buddied up ?‘I haven’t even begun to fight’: Matt Canavan to defy Nationals party room if majority back net zero
Senator ‘deadset’ against 2050 pledge as his Victorian colleague Darren Chester, who supports target, announces break from Nationalswww.theguardian.com
The Beetrooter v Littleproud war continues, with separate press conferences outlining different views on net zero. Unsurprisingly a troglodyte like Canavan wants to kill net zero at any cost, which shows there's a split in the Queensland Nationals between mining seats and agricultural seats. Although Barnaby likes money too much to properly represent the interests of his largely agricultural seat.
Meanwhile, the only National with integrity, Darren Chester, is taking a break from the party.
Speaking today, the Victorian MP described the leadership as "dysfunctional" and said his attempts to raise issues about comments other MPs had made fell on deaf ears.
One right-wing conservative party member last week described those who push for zero-emissions as “Marxists”. It is apparently the case that if one is to act in the interest of society as a whole, one is a communist.
The arrogant ignorance of this man is breathtaking.
Might be time for the ABC to seriously ask itself what public purpose is being served by interviewing Barnaby Joyce, it's like watching the last scene of a Eugene O'Neill play over and over again.
