I thought Bomber Thompson said that he'll only play if there were 3 late changes? Liar!

At least that little ******** Chapman is out.

When did he say that?

I don't get the decision. We all know Nathan isn't ready yet, but Bomber said he has to play due to a lack of talls.

That's bollocks because Haynes, Lonergan and Spencer are playing in the VFL and all are talls.

They've either lost their mind or think Nathan will genuinely play well.

I think the Dees can win.

Geelong have 25 players to choose from. Of course the Dees are a chance.

Any team that loses to an out of form and injury ravaged Geelong is a disgrace.

Actually to be fair, he only implied it. He said something like "We had to name the side on Thursday night and he was one of the emergencies, so he might have to play." That was when asked about the possibility of 3 late changes.

Wouldn't surprise me if he gets donuts in his first game, but you never know, he is God's son after all.

A small out and a tall in is a questionable decision.

They must be planning on using Ottens in the ruck for most of the game because he would make a bloody tall (and slow) forward line with Playfair, Kingsley and N.Ablett.

I hope he gets some decent delivery. The way they've been kicking inside 50, Gary Snr, would be a dud.

Was reported on Sports Tonight (early edition) last night, but then again it was inferred that all three emergencies would be needed.

Nathan will probably be the 3rd defensive tall. Hope things go well for him, no geelong fan is expecting anything significant today. Just a good honest effort of tackling, preassure ect

Egan and Mooney are both playing aren't they?

I can't see him going back if that's the case.

Sports Tonight yesterday said that Mooney was very doubtful due to his back injury.

Take that as you will.

You guys are judging him after a quarter of senior football

Just kicked a goal with his first kick in afl. Maybe it will be the start of something big. Give him a go...
