Just read on another forum that a source close to Danny Frawley (of all people) has confirmed that Nathan Brown still has no feeling in 3 of his toes and may never play AFL again.

Can anyone shed some light? Is this just the usual bulldust or is there something more to it?

No big deal - As some have allready mentioned on here. I too broke my leg and suffered nerve damage, 5 years ago now and still have very little sensation in a couple of my toes and some of my foot. You get used too it and it doesn't interfere - The only thing is you could sever a toe and not really know until you saw it.

As a medical student about to be examined on this stuff. I can assure you that all myotomes and dermatones communicate to the spinal cord through the legs (not rocket science). It follows that they all must pass near the fibula and/or tibia. Brown's broken leg and related soft tissue damage therefore, could easily result in a whole array of losses of sensory modalities.

Common sense really.

Personally I hope he does, he is a gun player. His break is similar to Cisse for Liverpool who is back playing and scored last night. Brown's biggest obstacle will be the crap going on in his head.

Hamill's carrying a hip injury and the solution is simple. He needs to spread his money equally between the left and right pockets, and perhaps get rid of the wallet and use a more aerodynamic money clip.

Also he needs to get rid of any coins he has, they carry a lot of weight. Perhaps Dal Santo and Kozi can run behind Hamill and collect the loose change, God knows they need the cash after being shortchanged by 800k each.
