Every player should back themselves in, but they should also have some sense and look for better opportunities to extend their career when they present themselves
Yeah I don't blame him at all. You only get one shot at a career and he saw an opening in the pies forward line. It's annoying because we needed a kpd at the time but I can't hold it against him.
 
We'd have continued trying to turn him into a defender, which he was reasonably good at from memory. He would have been ahead of SDK Rd 1 2022 though he would probably do a knee on the way to the ground and history remains unchanged
I don’t see how he could have been a good defender with his poor hands, and almost zero football nous.

Well we only tried him there for a couple of games and he looked good to me.

Yeah he looked good down back.
The lack of hype we had around SDK was hilarious seeming what should have been around Sam went to Freddy when he played down back.

At the time he was the heir apparent to replace Lachie Henderson long term.
