Stole this from Knightmares mock draft

Bradley Hill (WA - Mid)
Height: 180cm, Weight: 71kg, DOB: 09/07/1993
Recruited from: West Perth
Style: Stephen Hill
Player comparison:
Range: 20-rookie
Profile: Brother of Stephen, not the same level talent but can do many of the same types of things. Very light and physically needs to develop allot. Has that same type of super speed that Stephen possesses which gives him that special potential which will surely see him drafted. Real project player who will need time, but since he is a similar type player of similar size to what Stephen was we might see a similar development pattern, albeit won’t turn out nearly the same level talent. Also worth noting is his incredible endurance, managed a 16.1 beep test result which is phenomenal! Put this together with his incredible speed and maybe we have something! Draft combine showed that he can be more than just the brother of Stephen and that he can be something special in his own right which is what the recruiters were looking for. The question right now is can he play? Right now he looks like athlete over footballer, but time will tell.

High risk - High reward type. No doubt about it he is an athlete but can he develop the skills.

Here are a few snippets from various phantoms...

#51 Port Adelaide- Bradley Hill (WA - Mid)

# 48 Geelong – Brad Hill (West Perth / 178 / 72 / 93)

Personally, have had Brad pretty high all year actually as have followed closely. If you have seen him play he just looks the business. Has all the attributes of his brother but probably just hasn’t shown the same results albeit he did have a good Champs and then backed it up with a great DC. Has all the athletic credentials you could want as evidenced at DC – is quick, powerful and seems to have pretty good endurance. His ball use is good and there looks to be a fair bit to work with. Just needs to be taught to get more involved – particularly defensively.
AFL Comparison – Stephen Hill

#53 Hawthorn - Bradley Hill (180cm midfielder - West Perth)

Really don't know where to place Hill in the draft. His standing seems to have improved, but I'm not going to crazy on the basis of his combine results alone because he has a long way to go. Bradley doesn't have the same raw talent of Stephen, but has some similar traits and can go inside too. His ball winning has improved as the season has progressed, a greater impact on the scoreboard would help his prospects though. AFL Comparison: Chance Bateman.

Younger brother of Fremantle's Stephen, Hill proved he is an elite athlete at the NAB AFL Draft Combine. He broke the beep test record with a score of 16.1 and was the fastest in the 3km time trial, running 9.52 minutes. He was also a top 10 finisher in the 30m repeat sprint test (24.49 seconds). To top off his athletic set, his 20m sprint time of 2.88 seconds was in the top five. Hill represented Western Australia at the U18 Championships,

He's not as reserved as his Older brother and seems to have more of an outgoing and more aggressive

Very happy with that, my wife has taught both of the Hill boy's and has always said that Bradley has shown more natural sporting talent than Stephen.

Fingerscrossed she's right.

Seems like a bit of a gamble when there were a lot of handy players suppsoedly still floating at that pick.

What doit he experts think?

Won't profess to be an expert.

Kersten, Markworth, Curran and Talia all available at that pick.

Good luck to Brad Hill :thumbsu:

Jordan Kelly was also available at that pick!

Hawks don't draft on "Phantom Draft" hype. If we think Hill will be a player then I'm relatively confident.

You guys have got to impress him quick because he sounded very disappointed on channel 10 news just now. Don't think he wanted to leave WA at all. But if he reaches his full potential will be a great player for you guys. Glad he is going to a decent club :thumbsu:

I hope we wear our best push-up bra for the occasion.

Thats dissapointing to hear if true but I trust the club have done there homework. If nothing else will provide some good trade value to you or freo in a few years tho haha

Seriously hope that doesnt happen tho, good luck Bradley.:thumbsu:

Hmmm.....soon as saw HFC picked up Hill...started asking myself how long before we lose him to WA and what the cost would be in time effort etc. Or maybe Stephen wants in at the Hawks down the track lol

Brad Hill = Chance Bateman's replacement

Jordan Kelly: Personally I would of chosen Micheal Talia but hawks recruits must see something in this kid to pick him over Talia hope he is regular in the team

Alex Woodward = a replacement for Brad Sewell a tough inside midfielder wins a lot of contested ball from what i read has won more clearances than any other player in the TAC cup.

Luke Bruest: Nothing needs to be said

Overall 7/10

Found some gems in "shallow draft" I havent seen enough on Kelly yet I'm still a bit sceptical but I hope I'm wrong. With Kelly in now with Boumann and another pre season under the belt of Shoenmakers hoping our defence has some decent talls. Hill is a running machine is execptionally quick and can run all day with smith and savage gives us great outside pace if he is like his brother stephen differently a great pick up. Alex Woodward a great ball winner adds a bit of depth to our midfield but I can see him being a replacement to Sewell for the future.
