NBA 2k10 Part II

Okay, I've found a huge bug in the PC version. The coaching development is ****ed. If your player actually makes the target, it says that some of his specific skills go up but his overall ability goes DOWN.

James Harden went from 75 to 74
Kevin Durant went from 82 to 72!!! That's 10 points less!!!

Luckily I had a save I could revert to with Durant. For Harden, I just edited his skills back to 75.

Hopefully the PC patch fixes this. I'm having a great time otherwise.

How do you change the 1/4 length on my player mode? and how do you change it so that the other teams dont play 12 minute 1/4's??
Goto options then presentation. It's is in there.

You can't stop them playing 12 mins

Ooo.

Just crossed the **** out of Nate, broke those ankles, and proceeded to posterise DLee. Gonna upload the video :p

Survived the 2nd day at the Suns training camp. Torched Barbosa for 28pts and 8 rebounds. This was after i got toweled up on day 1 by J-Rich.
Still with the team going into day 3.

Geez i really enjoying playing a SG rather than my original PF before the patch

I've been averaging 25ppg over the last 5 games on 8 min q's with my face up forward (who I realised as I converted lbs to kgs is actually lighter than Tayshaun Prince but as tall as Amare - this can't be changed right?) and killing it on rebs, shot defense and even short jumpers, which is nice, finally... just working with the shot changing took a little getting used to after the patch, but it's good once you know you can bail out of shots and dump out to the wings if you get into trouble with a bad looking attempt.

Still having heaps of fun on myplayer, I haven't even finished a game on association.

FINALLY GOT A TRAINING CAMP INVITE.

Averaged 11 points, 10 assists for my migit PG.

Which team should I choose? I'm thinking Houston might need some PGs.

Dont know. Ive got a SG and prob chose the wrong team ( PHX ). But couldnt help it, there my club.

Position isn't really applicable. I got drafted to Detroit as a SG, and I made the roster, and then started after about 20 games. We have 4 SGs on the roster (Myself, Rip, BG and West)

Made a 7 foot PF and in summer camp for detroit averaged 16/12/3 and 3 blocks. Then went to training camp with dtroit and survived with 15/9/1. Now im 8 games in with pistons and average 10/5/1 and 1 block in about 10 minutes a game.

My Point guard has 2 games left to go in the season so im wondering if there will be a list of clubs offering my guy a contract - currently with the Warriors but ideally would like to get to the Pistons.

Anyone know how it works? After every game i still get the 'big decision to make' line from the insider so hopefully the patch has fixed up the off season.

Overall ranking of 67 - hoping to get a lot more drills to do to lift my attributes.

Man - this is such a long process.

I love the fact that, unlike most sports games, there is a great balance between being too easy and too hard. I've played about 40 games in association mode and am yet to change the difficulty. It feels realistic. I'm playing as Okhlahoma so I'm a weak side. I'm on the bottom of the ladder but still win about 30%. Against other weak sides, I feel like I have a realistic chance. When I play the Lakers, on the other hand, I can stay with them for a bit more normally get blown away.

I also struggle to play against Houston because my normal tactic is to crash the net with Brooks Lopez but Yao Ming always gets in the way :(

Yeah its the same on my player - not too hard it makes you wanna give up and not too easy you get bored. I think they have finally got the balance right on basketball games.

Is it wrong to develop an affinity for your My Player team in real life? I've played 10 games with the Sixers and really am understanding their team more. And now i'm looking at their box scores to see how they are progressing!!

I feel dirty.

Nope - no shame at all - first time in my life ive taken an interest in the Warriors and even gone to their site a few times and was a little peeved that stephen jaxson got traded.

Weird - im feeling guilty for abandoning them since they gave me my start.

Still going to leave them for my pistons tho. loyalty runs deep.

Yeah, I hate the Spurs a little less now. Although on the other hand, I dislike the real Ginobili even more because of the stupid shots and no passes he does the video game

They traded Lou Williams from the Sixers - now Jrue Holiday runs the floor. Issue with my last game v Hornets was we were down by 2 with 10 seconds and he decided to hog and not pass (despite me being open for a drive).

I am wishing trade on him.

Just started playing 2K10. My first 2K game, previously been on the Live.

Finding it pretty tough played a couple of quick games won 1 lost 1.

And started My Player. SF which i'm sort of regretting now. Summer League with the Wizards, dropped after the 4th game and now in the D League with the BayHawks. My guy's averaging 13.3 pts, 4 boards, 2 assists a game.

I hate having to mark my direct opponent.

Lou Williams For Pietrus ;) happens every season.

Tayshaun Prince sucks to play with. He thinks he's LeCrab. gets the ball. Jab step jab step jab step shoot. No matter how open and how many times you hit pass, no chance.

He kept doing this last game despite shooting about 2-15.

****ing sucks.

Honest opinion people - is the PC version of NBA 2K10 worth getting? I'm a fan of the series (pretty much played NBA 2K8 to death on the PS2, but have since gotten rid of that console), and I'd like to play it on the PC, because it's easier to edit/update the rosters on there (I like fiddling with that sort of thing, team management etc.). I've read that the PC edition has the least bugs/glitches as well, which sounds positive. So, thoughts on the PC version for those that have it?
