Just had the score from another game pop up at half-time of a my player game. MIA leading ORL 54-50 in the 3rd, leading scorer LeBron James with 48?! umadDWade?

Created players outside of My Player mode have all cold zones for their hot spots

Really hope they realize and fix this soon, its ruining the game for me knowing even if i take a good shot with my created player in associations mode it isn't a money shot.

I haven't really even put much effort into my player. It damn sucks. Phoenix is shit. I mean Nash doesn't even play like Nash. 2K said stars play like stars but they don't. Nash never runs pick and rolls and when I try to run a pick and roll I always turn it over thanks to the shit passing system. The trading sucks balls as well. I'm the sixth man for Phoenix and yet every minute I play basically is at SG when I'm a ****ing PG. Aaron Brooks can get ****ed. Also the up and under shit in this game needs to be fixed. Not every ****ing player can up and under like Kevin McHale or Hakeem. ****.

I've been hesitant on upgrading to 2k12 until the lockout ended, would you say it's a worthwhile upgrade from 2k11?

Also with those complaining about the lack of rookies, are the fan-made draft classes any good?

good god no do yourself a favour and skip this one one of the absolute worst 2k's ever made

Skip it.

I'm disappointed the first game I went back-to-back with buying is so un-fun to play.

On a related note, I hate how it's become acceptable to release a 90% finished game and then use the paying public as a beta in order to identify flaws and then patch. If you're going to be so greedy as to release yearly iterations of a game, at least have the good grace to ensure it's finished by release date and not 3-6 months afterwards.

Had 3 interesting games recently, two against the Chicago Bulls (away and at home). Beat them playing away when it could have gone either way - both teams had a 9+ point lead at various stages during the game. I wound up winning by 7. The second game went down to the wire in over time, got fouled out and we lost by 3.

Game 3 was great against the Cavaliers, despite playing like a dogs breakfast (my shooing has deserted me over the last few games - going from 50 - 75 FG% to 20 - 40% sucks!!!). Managed to scrape out a win, i celebrated while putting my controller down.... only for it to hit a button on my new keyboard, that turned out to be the "hibernation" button for my pc. So the game cut out while the computer went into sleep mode. Thus i now have to replay the game against the Cavs .

Anyone know the trade-in value of this game? Haven't played it in a month or so and put it back in today and was almost ready to Martin Bryant the neighbourhood with how shit and frustrating the MP mode is.

The thing I love about this game is, you miss easy open mid range jumpers with lights out shooters and the AI goes up the other end and drains long range contested fade away threes. Or ridiculous double clutch contact look away lay ups.

You pass to an open man but some spud like Ewing Jnr sticks out his hand and tips it directly to a teammate. But every time you get a tip the opposition retains possesion.

I mean, I love playing games where you shoot at around 30% and the computer 60%.

And dont get me started on ridiculous foul calling.

Up to a couple of years ago this franchise was near perfect. Now they've resorted to cheap tactics to keep games close.

Totally agree. The latest 'patch' has made it even worse. Noone on your team can score anymore, even more so than before, and my guy who is a shooter doesn't make a shot if there is a player within a metre of him, even if he doesn't put his hand up the commentator will say 'good defence'.

Had a 20+ game winning streak going before the patch, I have been flogged in the 2 matches since the patch by two less than .500 teams.

General consensus is to just dust off 2k11? Thinking of just starting a season and 100% simming games and playing the role of gm and coach for something different

I don't think it really matters about your line up after this patch. I just got flogged by the Raptors and there shite list.

I have a starting 5 of; D Howard, Haslem, Granger, Wade and Me and none of them can score anymore.

Bargnani was dominating Howard on offence and defence and Barbosa was basically unstoppable. Seems something got ****ed up.

Sadly yes.

Like I said earlier, I put 2k12 in after a long break and was just saying to myself repeatedly, this is not fun. Why am I playing a game that is not fun?

Before the patch this game was okay. Had flaws but the ease of stealing felt like it was an evener. But now that the patch is in, it's harder to steal, almost impossible to score unless you're open and teammates do nothing.

Hey guys,

Just wanted to make you aware of a NBA simulation league i have been a part of for a few years now.

The league is called the NLL and utilizes nba 2k12(hopefully) on pc.

We have a really good community, a fantastic web site and a very competitive bevy of gm's.

The re-signing/free agency period is starting soon, and as this league is moddeled on the real nba, our lockout affected 66 game season will also be starting in janurary.

So if you have always dreamed of being the general manager of an nba team, this league might be for you.

Cheers.

Do you actually play against other GM's in NBA2k12, SIM games in NBA2k12 or is it purely based through the webpage?

I'd be very interested if you could play against other GM's. (Like the Online Assoc.)

Sim games.

Although i am also interested in joining a good pc online play league, have yet to find one though.

So, I popped in 2k11 on the 360 last night and gave MP a whirl. A lot of the problems in 2k12 are prevalent in 2k11, the main one being star players on your team aren't as good at knocking down shots as star players on opposition (case in point, on the Clippers Griffin doesn't really dominate whereas Roy for Blazers is almost unguardable) but the game is actually quite a bit more fun.
