The issue is he is simply scared of contact. Sure Curry bombs alot of 3s etc but guy is happy to take a hit driving to the basket. Poole is petrified. Even when he does drive its a snowflake drive looking to avoid contact

For a team with a good perimeter defender and a shot blocking addonus, the defense is shithouse

Ultimately the team is just slow. Individual defenders are good but combine them and they dont have the help defense/pace to get things done.

I think T-Wolves blow it up mid season but im stumped if I can see how.
