Alright finally I’ll get on board the Celtics as one of the top op teams.

I’m all for Philly dropping games. Embiid needs to blow it up and come to the Knicks.

Man is all bark and no bite.
I will never understand the fans that claim he is easy to hate until he is on your team... No it is worse now

I am so sick of seeing clips of him talking about himself like he actually contributes just to watch him run around doing nothing on defence, spilling the ball and giving dumb fouls and missing every 3 short.

The dude is not average he is straight ass.

The Knicks trade for him and they will just have average role players surrounding him. Won't be a contender.

Not really contenders without him either. I’d rather Embiid Brunson and Barrett than Robinson Randle and Brunson.

Confident we will make play offs again this year but at best we might win the first round but won’t go further than that if at all. We need a star player to pair with Brunson.

Difference is now you have some assets, would be dumb to make an all in move that doesn't even make you a contender. Also you would have to find a new home for Randle because Philly would not want him.

Yeah i haven't seen anything to convince me has learned from his issues.

He is so slow to react to double teams and so careless with the ball.

Doc Rivers mentioned in the podcast with Bill Simmons that Embiid has a passive aggressive type of personality, which sometimes made him bit of a problem to coach (at times)

The Celtics got into his head again tonight..
It must be so infuriating for Philly fans cause he pretty much dominated us the last time we played.

He just hasn't improved in the areas that has held him back. He is so slow to pass out of double teams which is a problem because it is all they throw at him. When he turns it over he sulks and he gets lazy on defence as well. The Celtics have embarrassed him countless times and yet he still struggles to be motivated against them.

You can criticize aspects of Tatum or Giannis at times but you can never accuse them of sulking and giving up on a game.

No Jaylen, no Unicorn, no worries

RING THAT BELL PHILLY !!!

That quote by Joel will never get old even after his time.

His demeanour and fourth quarter lapse cost Philly the win in your season opener against Milwaukee too.

Sometimes I think the narrative (some observers have) about Embiid wanting individual glory over team success (aka a chip) is merit

I don't think it's true, but games like tonight and Embiid's lack of competitive drive against their most hated conference rivals does make me wonder.

Russ said it best about him.

I've never rated him other than maybe the energy he can bring as he is tenacious but the game is passing him by, he has been declining since he has been aging, which is why he knows his time is close to being up and is trying to settle for an espn role.

Good lord that is the one reason i hope he never retires! He will be the single worst media personality ever. He will make Perkins look incredible in comparison!

I think it is the opposite, i think he cares i just think it is more frustration and sulking when things are going against him. Not that he doesn't care. Either way it is not good enough from the number 1 guy on a team yet alone an MVP.

The other slight concern i have is Maxey being more aggressive. He has shown he has the talent to be a number 2 option but i am not convinced yet he believes he is that.

Lastly and the biggest one is the depth issue. You can not lose a fringe starter and a bench player and have that ruin your rotation. Both Boston and Philly were down two players, obviously Bostons 2 guys are way way better. Yet i think Philly got hurt by it just as much. That is just how bad the depth is.

Oubre is a signifcant loss for you the way he was playing

The good news you have the assets and cap space to get Maxey and JoJo some help, another efficient scoring wing would be nice

Yep players like that will always get air time because of the dumbest things they say as a take.

There's more Perkins like than there are JJ reddick like out there as former players go.

Yeah it isn’t all doom and gloom, it has still be a good start to the season. Just this is why as currently constructed I don’t see this team as a legit contender.

Probably not right, but as I say, you have the assets and cap space to bring in reinforcements.

Also you were on a back to back after a tough loss against a young and feisty Indy team that is going to be a lot of problems for most other teams this season.
