Playing Devils advocate here. Rillie played under Gleeson and as we know, along with chomicde, Gleeson was public enemy number 1 for Wildcats fans for a long time. 5 championships later Gleeson is a club legend and fan favorite. Perhaps Rillie will be in a similar boat?

Yeah looking forward to the season

High quality year coming up with some talent coming into the league with Baynes and impressive imports.

Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Sydney all look very strong.

I expect improvement from the Breakers after the huge challenges they faced last year along with solid years from Illawarra and Cairns.

Not sure what to think of where both Melbourne teams will end up. There is no doubt Melbourne is the home of Australian basketball and success will be expected there.

Can understand most expecting the JJ's to be close to the bottom of the ladder as most predicted last year with the players on the roster. Imports look like they are Jackjumper basketballers and the addition of White, Forsyth and DPS while solid lacks the glamour of other clubs. Magnay will be a welcome addition if he does play. Looking forward to the season again and if culture / buy in from players can end up in success.

Such an exciting time of year. So many fresh faces- imports, local kids, coaches

I'm like the proverbial kid in a candy shop

The NBL was closer than ever last season. Yes, Sydney rose to the top after signing Clark and ended up being comfortably the best team. (Although United with CG43 would've pushed them further than JJ's did).

But we had 6 contenders with SEM and Perth missing playoffs in the final days in thrilling games. Very different to a few seasons ago without that level of evenness throughout the comp. I having a feeling this season will be similar to last year. Plenty of talented teams
