Trezz confirmed for the rest of the year.

Huge for Adelaide to have this calibre of player for the whole season.
Feel bad for starling but he wasn’t quite at the level at this point.

Quite the upgrade - trading in a NBL1 player for a NBA player

What happens when Martin comes back in though? Humphries/Trez/Martin all 7 footers all can't shoot, will there be enough minutes for all of them?

Massive for the league Trez has opted to stay but team gets a bit clogged

Martin and humphries are almost 7 foot. Trezz is “only” 6 foot 7.

Trezz is still building fitness and I can’t see Martin being any fitter, so it would work well to get those two rotating.

Good chance we see a lot of opposing second units get beat up inside

Assumed trez was taller, plays bigger and can't shoot still but yeah if he's against a bench unit he will dominate that time.

burge13 In Martin's last NBL game, the championship winning game in 2022, he hit 4 threes. He can shoot and space the floor

Don't forget they originally recruited him to play 4 alongside Humphries

Here's a recent Euroleague game where he's playing 4 and splashing threes

JJs really ****ed up their roster. Sure Mcveigh and Mac weren't planned to be out but there's some dead average players getting minutes. May as well replace Sword now. Need another import that can get a bucket. Doesn't help Doyle is in the slump of all slumps.

Yeah the best way to describe jj’s right now is that some players simply appear to be just there. Not any standout, just simply on the court not creating much

The NBL really overdoes the DJ/music constantly playing at times. Entire songs from start to finish never necessary
I'll accept it when it is Slice of Heaven during a NZ home game but outside of that I 100% agree. It was already bad and somehow seems even worse this season around the league.

Heartless "effort" by the Wildcats today. Very disappointing.

Thought the opposite tbh

Effort was there, lost Bryce early, Mooney and Darling shot out of their skins and Windler couldn't buy a 3

Obvious but in big trouble if Bryce is out for an extended period

The way I saw it, Mooney and Darling shot out of their skins because we showed no inclination to play proper defence. Too many of their shots were uncontested looks.
We showed a bit of grit in the 2nd quarter to pull the margin back for half time, and that was about it I thought. Hard to pull back an opponent's lead when you phone it in on every 2nd defensive possession.
