Only 9 cities in the USA bigger than Adelaide I think yet somehow Aussies think we're tiny. It's pretty dumb rhetoric

Why are people from Adelaide so precious about being so small?

Is calling out inaccuracies or stupidity being precious?

I'm glad people think Adelaide is shit tbh. We can do literally everything Melbourne and Sydney can do, only cheaper and with less traffic. Stay away

Relative to other major cities in Australia you are a small city though.

It’s okay that you are a little small, it doesn’t seem to bother you at all.

Think you might need to look into the 36ers history if you think that mate lol.

We're a bit of a bigger town now too than we were 40 years ago.

I’m just looking at the recent history of Sixers imports all leaving before their contract is up

Robert Franks - two year deal. Left after one.
Antonius Cleveland- two year deal, left after one
Jamaal Franklin - shitshow

Aurelio Vidmar might’ve been right when he called Adelaide a piss-ant town. Small/country town isn’t just a reference to population, it’s also attitudes.

For the record I’m a South Australian. Grew up regional but lived in Adelaide for three years as a uni student, worked in SA for a few years after that but have now been interstate for almost a decade.

Forgive me for suggesting a kid from the bright lights of America may struggle to fit in to the culture of a place with the main selling point of “We can do literally everything Melbourne and Sydney can do, only cheaper and with less traffic”

And also for the record, to get it back to basketball, hope skam is wrong and things work out and we have Davis at least for the season.

Yanks have had ego issues since Adam was a boy scout. Surely you don't import them thinking they're he ultimate team men ffs. You deal with the egos, seems we're a club who struggle with American arrogance

There's egos and there's egos.

KD is in locker room cancer territory. For every failed US import, league wide, there's multiple successes.

This is a player ego issue not a club incompetence or location based issue

That presser with wells after the cairns game suggested he did need a bit of different treatment, or tough love.

It’s a shame because when he’s on he’s absolutely on. Defensively in the second half of that game was really good - along with his offensive output

Franks they didn't want because he was lazy from memory. Cleveland superstar but he had a better deal offered to him in Europe. Randall was the bigger shitshow of them all tbh, weird one that was.

I do agree with the SA attitude being kinda shitty, and it often has that petty little brother attitude around the place. I laugh at the hatred for Victoria and Melbourne because it's like that Don Draper quote 'I don't think about you at all'.

However the city is a fine option for an import, they all live down the beach and get looked after pretty well. They'd have no problem with the woman here at all and there's enough fun things that you can do these days.

Basketball wise, Davis would be a huge loss, would ruin the season.

At least Doyle finally showed but can't make up for the pile of shit the rest of the team is. Old spud Krslovic must have won some sort of competition where you get given minutes. No idea why they haven't replaced Sword yet given the state of the season.
