Great day of College Hoops, the Michigan v North Carolina game was definitely something to sea. (sorry). My beloved Cats had a big win, UCLA did very poorly. I'd be surprised if their still in the Top 25. Duke only beat Belmont by one, Kentucky and Ohio State smashed Marist and Wright St respectively.

6 games down in the last 24 hours and counting. Some games have been really high quality and others not so much. Some things of note:

i) The North Carolina vs Michigan State game was quite amazing to watch. A long time in the making but definitely worth it. Glad the weather held out.
ii) Syracuse is MASSVE. They are one of my absolute favourite teams to watch.
iii) Notre Dame NEED Abromitis back. Their performance was well below what they should be aiming for this season.
ii) Kevin Pangos is the new Mickey McConnell of the WCC. The kid is pretty damn decent.
iii) St Mary's have started nicely once again even without their best player from last season.

Now it's time for me to get onto the last 6 games...

Hoepfully Boise State can give the Pac-12 a big **** you today by beating the Utah Utes.

Though, it wouldn't be much of an accomplishment.
They do seem sucky right now, while Boise State is the 3rd best shooting % team in the country....

Anthony Drmic - 3/6 inside the arc, 5/8 outside the arc, 2/2 on free throws = 23 points, 5 rebounds, 2 of them offensive, 2 assists, 1 steal, 1 turnover, 1 foul

Igor Hedziomerovic - 2/5 = 4 points, 1 offensive rebound, 2 assists, 3 turnovers, 4 fouls

Drmic is looking good, I'm worried Hedziemerovic is going to lose his starting role.

Though, plenty of time to improve, together they're the first true freshman to start a game since about 2003 I read.

A few results I'm liking - Long Beach State over Pittsburgh by 9 at the hald - We have Long Beach State pretty soon, and they're just out of the 25 right now, if they can beat Pittsburgh, and we beat them, we could be looking at being ranked soon, could hit about 10-0 before we get LSU.

UTSA up over Oklahoma State by 9 with 100 seconds left. I'm thinking of quality of WAC next season if Boise State have to ditch our Basketball and olympic sports back there with big East probably not giving us an all sports offer. The 3 teams in the Southland conference who are heading to the WAC are all undefeated right now
