I know the club was torched on the Treloar and Stephenson deals, but Pick 65 for Tom Phillipstrade looks easily the worst deal among the three from a value POV. Hawks made out like bandits.PLAYERCARDSTART21Tom Phillips

I think he meant the word fumblingFirst line - “I think we were just basically navigating through the list management”
You don’t say?
Can't believe the Pies PR Dept is sharing that, can't think of a more embarrassing interview in the AFL. Can only believe it's been put up so they can justify sacking him as the fall guy for this disaster.
One of the Pies PR people has recently joined BF as Scratchy05, lots of posts tonight saying the Pies did well !!!! FMD how amateurish, as if Pies supporters are so gullible.
For a bloke who has a loud opinion on absolutely everything AFL, the silence from Ed is deafening.
So to cover their arses and try and justify that they didn't screw up the payments and weren't completely disloyal to their players, they're now trying to pretend that they chased Lynch because... what, they're feeling awkward that they have to now cut players whilst two years ago they were chasing Lynch very hard? Absolutely ridiculous. No, Collingwood were chasing Lynch. Everyone remembers they were. Lynch had dinner with almost every member of the Collingwood brains trust. I doubt they just had him over for company.
If I don’t hear that Ned Guy had death threats over night I’d be shocked.
What a campaigner
I can imagine Ned as the captain on the Titanic
"Sir, we hit a iceberg"
"Yeah we planned to hit the iceberg, we just wanted to make sure the ship was sturdy enough to float with a hole in it"
Apparently pies never went after lynch then why was ned guy caught jumping the fence at lynch’s Parents house to escape the media out the frontDidn't use it. The callers did.
Oh by the way, they interviewed Geoff Walsh as well.
Walsh said that the same stuff but added that will communicate to the supporters at the right time and in the appropriate channels.
Walsh also said that they never went after Tom Lynch which made me laugh straight away because I know the Lynch family and they definitely did, as did the Hawks but he chose Richmond in the end.
After buckley’s interview, absolutely dead man walking.
Buckley says salary cap was the reason, Guy says the opposite?
One of them is lying, and after Buckley's comments re: the Treloar phone call, possibly both. After buckley’s interview, absolutely dead man walking.

If not the list manager than who did?Just a puppet getting sacrificed. As if this dude made the calls over Beams/Grundy.
