Unfortunately from our end, he just didn't have a point of difference at AFL level. Could easily slot in at SANFL level and be a good player. Pick 16 hurts though in that regard.

Realistically Ned would have known he was in trouble. When a coach has to invent a role to sell to the supporters and media and you still fail at that role, then it was only a matter of time.
