Carroll - best two or three key backs won't cut it - he'd have to be the best fullback to be named there. He's been good, but surely Scarlett, Glass, Fletcher and Rutten all have better claims.

Whelan - decent small defender, outside chance maybe.

Rivers - you're joking. Even Croad has a better chance of being selected at CHB.

Bruce - granted

Neitz - no chance. Fev and Hall have FF and a FP spot sewn up.

McDonald and McLean - may be two of the best seven midfielders whose names start with "Mc". That is all. Cousins, Judd, Kerr, Edwards, Goodwin, Black, West... that's seven better midfielders without even thinking about it.
