Is Justin Bieber Australian?

Who gives a shit, the point is just because something is popular or sells out a stadium doesn't mean it is good. Of the era there are many better bands such as AC/DC, The Dots, Crowded House, Hoodoo Gurus, Skyhooks, Hunters & Collectors, The Church, The Angels, Mental As Anything, Men At Work, the list goes on.

Incorrect again

The team use it in the change rooms.

It's funny how everyone has these opinions on what has meaning to our club.

How is that incorrect?

My opinion is that it was tacky.

I said there was no problem with the song choice. I don't really care what Port listen to in the change rooms, I'm talking about the spectacle before the game.

You said that it doesn't inspire the players.

They love it.

I said it didn't fire them up much, it was a reference to you guys losing to Essendon. Of course I don't literally know how much it fired each individual up

Fair call. My vag is extremely sandy right now having consecutive losses to the two clubs I respect least in the AFL and having multiple similar shots at our NTUA theme on Facebook all week.

Footballers and footy tragics are mostly bogans.

As cheesy as singing You'll Never Walk Alone.

Sing your theme song.

um, AFL club songs are the most cheesiest part of the AFL,

now I mean this in a nice way, but with 59,000 posts are you a footy tragic bogan?

Haha, that's totally fair enough. I just didn't like the scarf raising thing, it felt a bit forced/manufactured.

I actually don't mind that song at all

Its been played before every home game this year.

First home game loss tonight.

Are you all there upstairs?

See above re: scarf raising

The supporters drove the scarf thing. It was happening all year, it's only been this week that the club has encouraged it on their official social media accounts. A couple of the more organized supporter groups/official cheersquad promoted it/started it and it's caught on.

. I didn't even know it was a premier league 'thing' until recently (don't follow it).

In the second act of the musical, Nettie Fowler, the cousin of the female protagonist Julie Jordan, sings "You'll Never Walk Alone" to comfort and encourage Julie when her husband, Billy Bigelow, the male lead, kills himself to avoid capture during a failed robbery

Holy shit!

You know that the Power and Maggies spent literally years having to be 100% separate right?

Yes we are now back together, meaning that 'Never Tear Us Apart (again)' is actually quite relevant.

I'll hop on the blower first thing and tell the club that our pre game isn't inspiring to Crows supporters.
Forgive my naivety, but were 'Port Power' and 'Port Magpies' ever together in the first place? My understanding is that a new club was formed in 1996 so Port could have a team in the AFL, and from 1997 onwards the clubs were separate.

A new club was formed out of what?

Port Adelaide bid for the licence, Port Adelaide won the right to field a team in the AFL, Port Adelaide entered the AFL. It's the same club.

The artificial separation in 1997 was because the SANFL were scared this would make a side that had won 6 of the last 7 SANFL flags even stronger. Port Adelaide certainly didn't want to separate. Thankfully the clubs were remerged a few years back.
