Went down like that new clash jumper a few years ago.
The AFCs ability to completely botch very simple tasks never ceases to amaze me.

You know what annoyed me with that, is that we had a perfectly good and simple clash strip, that won a fan vote in the first place which the 2019 clash was a part of, and yet they still decided to rip the rug out and give it a go when it didn’t win the vote. And they wonder why no one liked it.

This situation with the logo is so funny cause it just adds to the hilarity of how both SA clubs have operated since 2017 (maybe even a bit earlier for Port). Granted we had an easier time trying to change our logo cause the elements of ours were already there, whereas the Crows are trying to come up with a new Crow for the entirety of the logo. Praying they go closer to that one fan concept that’s been doing the rounds.

Genuinely don't see the issue in just bringing back the old logo. the current one looks shit and appeals to no base; the old has some associations with flags and their best ever players. it's not that exciting but it has a lot more appeal and a proven popularity.

What I find amazing is that people on BigFooty conjure up better ideas for new logos, than the 'expert' consultants that create garbage and surely charge an arm and leg.Just a bit of an update on my design (old version on the left).
I felt like the the wings and tail looked a bit too 'angular'...

Both logos above would be suitable, as they incorporate the crow, the swoop, and the tri-colour bands.
Nothing that any professional who charges an exorbitant price has produced has come close.

Actually a correction of the above... From memory, when the vote was released one option over the other already had a suspicious number of votes and a BigFooty member found an exploit to give as many votes as possible to one of the better jumpers. In the end, I don't even think the Crows changed their clash jumper until the following season when the Murder came out. At least, that's my memory of it all. Someone may have a better memory!
