Looks like it confirms that the number font wont change next year, unless clubs are allowed to choose their own and the ones seen in the West Coast Jumper promo vid are accurate also?

I hope it doesn’t change because I hate notches on 1’s

Lol his 9th season and he decides to change number. You stay relevant Majak
Following in the footsteps of former great #1's at North, like Steven Easton, Mark Lisle, Hamish McIntosh and Ash Watson.
It's actually hard to think of a club with a less impressive list of players who wore #1, and that includes Gold Coast & GWS.

Have a look at the pear tag on the bottom of the training tops haha

Possibly because Power fans often use the Pear Emoji to represent their team as in "Carn the [pear]" I just assumed it was because Power and Pear sound similar. especially if you pronounce Power with an exaggerated bogan accent(which sounds like the 'w' has been dropped out).

Pe-ah

Yep - it's how the players on the ground heard "Car'n the Power" from the crowd

Challenge accepted. I present to you the "honour" roll of Adelaide Crows #1's:

Romano Negri (6 games)
Greg Anderson (59)
Lucas Herbert (14)
Andrew Crowell (44)
Nick Gill (16)
Richard Tambling (16)
James Podsiadly (21)
Jonathon Beech (3)

Hopefully the curse will be broken, with Hugh Greenwood moving into the #1 jumper in 2018.

That is the most stunning catalogue of mediocrity I have ever seen from what I would consider a club that's had quite a few blokes who could play the game.
These are the people who gave us Ricciuto, McLeod, Modra and the Jarmans.

You'd expect a fair share of mediocrity from some of the Victorian clubs given the length of time they've been in the competition. But to have so much in such a relatively short space of time is quite an achievement.

As an aside, we have quite a few famous numbers available for draftees this year. 23, 32 and 36 all up for grabs. No pressure, kids.
