Just asked on Collingwood's live chat thing on their store about long sleeve guernseys, got told straight up they won't be getting any for next season. Not sure if it's across the board for all ISC supplied clubs or just us but disappointing all the same.

The Eagles polo doesn't need the wordmark. Everyone knows blue and yellow is that team, and the wordmark makes the logo look smaller in comparison and the sponsors more focused. Just use the head – it's on the jumpers, why can't it be in isolation on merch?

They removed "West Coast" from the logo on the AFL website and just left it as Eagles.

Geelong have sold long sleeve since leaving ISC and going to Cotton On

What's the point of a pre-season polo?
I have long wondered this, I find it pretty much a waste of money. I guess it's to finalise the main designs but quite often they're white so maybe they wear them for the warmer months. Weird thing about that, is lots of clubs who wear dark colours barely seem to trot out in specially made pre-season singlets. It seems like a waste of money and material and resources.

to wear in the pre season
You just take the piss now ffs

Sort of on this, anyone else find it a wasted chance that Geelong gear isn't sold at Cotton On?

You'd write it into the contract I'd imagine. The Cats get extra exposure with a few jumpers and logos around every store while Cotton On get some substance to their exercise range. You go from thinking it's cheap, second rate stuff to good enough for a (successful) AFL club. I know they hark on about it a lot at Cotton On employee inductions and not many people actually realise they sponsor Geelong. Just seems a waste.

I dont mind the use of grey (Light Marle as they call it) in the Crows pre-season gear. Works better than the white and certainly more practical.

When did the Crows merge with the North Queensland Cowboys?

I agree with that to a point, I'm just not sure where sport clothing fits into the cheap casual clothing brand of cotton on and honestly I don't think cotton on does either. It would be nice to see some acknowledgement, even if it was say navy and white wooden planks with Geelong stencilled on them in a corner of the store or something so they don't need to go all rebel sport with club logos and bunting everywhere.
GMHBA on the other hand are out loud and proud with the cats, giving away footys and showing off life sized cut outs of the players in most of their branches around the state.
But then Ford don't really seem to do anything specifically Geelong either and they are eternally linked with the club that they more or less fade into the background, taken for granted,

Cotton On set up floors in terms of 'stores.' Each segment has a different set of clothes, either in relation to gender or style or season or application (casual, underwear, activewear, etc.) so they could definitely fit it in. Surely you'd bridge it between the men's gear and active wear? It's not that hard.

Going to sound like a cap nerd here but:

They are 9fifty, have the AFL moved totally away from 59fifty and the fitted caps?

Yeah that's what I'm wondering. Noticed these ones say snap back. I'd buy one if they make the fitted, curved ones like they did last year. The ones underneath are called training caps, and they're a different material.

Last year they had the same designs, but some flat and some curved, but still the flexefit, not all snap backs.

I think Port has actually stopped selling 59fiftys too which blows because they sold like hot cakes and were a great piece of merch please confirm Pappagallo El_Scorcho
