Yeah that's what I'm wondering. Noticed these ones say snap back. I'd buy one if they make the fitted, curved ones like they did last year. The ones underneath are called training caps, and they're a different material.

Last year they had the same designs, but some flat and some curved, but still the flexefit, not all snap backs.

Yeah Port has moved away from 59fiftys as well, apparently were running into sizing issues all too often and snapback is just easier. While I prefer a fitted cap, i'm okay with it.

Certain caps look good with a flat peak on certain people but you definitely have to have a particular look if you're going to be over the age of 25 and get away with a flat brim.

I don't have that look.

Even just a slight bend in the brim looks great. Every hat I wear regularly was bought with a flat brim and bent.

Yep the 39THIRTYs are your only option now if you don’t want a snapback.

Definitely, I can barely tell the difference between the 9 and 59 from the front. That's probably why they made the decision, 95% of people buying these things wouldn't know the difference and it's easier for the shop to order.

Pretty sure no one wears new era anymore. Retro dad hats from the 90s are the big thing now. Hopefully afl clubs get onto this

9FIFTY has an adjustable back, 59FIFTY is fitted and comes in different sizes.

That’s right mate - picked this one up today:

Would have preferred just the head logo without the text (and probably without it being quite so raised) but all in all a nice piece of kit.

The royal blue stuff looks fantastic in person. They’ve nailed that.

Yeah I'm usually a fan on the eagles text underneath the logo, but it looks a bit cramped on those ones. Wonder how it'd look with just eagles and not west coast on there as well?

Haha yes...makes no sense.

But I would guess they had designed some retro stuff and decided to keep the alternative in case the royal blue hit skids with the fans (it won’t, they’ve done a good job). It’s a tough one though, it’s not a colour as neutral as navy.
