Seems like a strange choice of club for Cotton On?

Hopefully the jumpers will change from the navy blue they currently are

The club did a tour of the Cotton On facilities back in 2017 and were very impressed with them. So I’m not overly surprised they are at least exploring the option.

As for why it would be a strange choice for Cotton On...why would it? I’m sure they would be looking to get as many AFL clients as possible. They do already manufacture the women’s team on and off field gear so it’s not a massive stretch for them.

I’m actually a huge fan of the AFLW gear that they produce for Freo so wouldn’t be upset if we did indeed switch to them. I don’t see navy blue in the ISC jumpers at all however and I own about 240 of them

"Despite the clubs terminating their arrangements with BLK, BLK International is confident that it will be able to replace that lost business over the medium term once it has rebuilt confidence in the brand," says Brant.

BLK can stay away please

Has the AFL got a block on BLK re entering AFL, are the 18 clubs just not getting any deals done with them, or are BLK refusing to talk to the AFL clubs because of their treatment by the AFL when they went into administration?

Or maybe none of the clubs are dumb enough to go with them. Especially since their colours were shithouse and they refused to fix them eg Richmonds charcoal and pale yellow jumpers

Yes agreed Cotton On gear is decent for the womens team - Cotton On do all the women's teams though so it's not a freo specific choice.

I was being facetious with the navy blue comment. The purple has definitely gone darker over the years however - that much is noticeable.

it could just be my imagination but it feels like every time a jumper has been torn in recent years it was an ISC jumper. what could account for that?
That V neck collar (2013-15) seemed to be designed as a "impact area" that would tear when a player was grabbed, or tension was applied around the neck area to avoid unnecessary tension on the neck.

Or it was a weird side effect of the design haha

Funny you mention ISC and torn.
Hawthorn, after trading for Sam Frost, showed in his highlights package, him running and chasing West Coast's Jack Petruccelle this past season and, sure enough, Eagles' apparel sponsor is ISC.

EDIT: This is for 2021, if you want I can delete and post this when next years thread comes out.

So people can give the club the designs and they can take there time going through the entries and make sure that it looks nice
