The Saints 2021 home jumper is, sadly, probably the current front-runner for worst new kit of the year. I've always hated the thinner middle white panel as it makes it seem like an afterthought, and the black shoulder panel cutting off the red is particularly egregious.

I can understand why it has to be the case for the Cotton On women's guernseys, as I believe their shoulder panels are a type of mesh that might be hard to have in more than one colour, but to me it looks like New Balance's shoulder panels are essentially made of the same material as the body.

In that case, would it not be too hard to make the panel red on the front and black on the back? It's straight line sublimation – they're hardly splitting the atom.

I actually don’t mind the thin white panel, I think it can look cleaner overall because the logos don’t cut into it. But totally agree on the template and the faded colours are killing it too.

I said this in the Women's thread (we're duplicating our posts aren't we?) but this isn't anything out of the ordinary. The Nike logo has been on the AFLW email signature since 2018; I believe they're our footwear partner.

Yeah, same post just thought as it was believed to be a new addition i would yank it over here.

They could’ve easily put the logos up another 50mm on the training jumpers to make them so much better

Google St Kilda 2009 for an example of a big middle panel, but the logos fit into the side colours easily because they have them a few cm's over!

Not bloody hard, I'm sure the AFL guidelines haven't changed that much

Can't ask for a better jumper

Good colours, clean collar and perfect sponsor integration without any nasty templates

Fingers crossed for a classic short design

Port's new Macron gear will probably be revealed soon, the on-field section has shown up on their club store website but nothing in there at the moment. And Macron now coming up as a brand on there too.

Going from those images the St Kilda home jumper's white panel has been thinned back to what it was pre-2020 (no real overlap from the AFL or Deliveroo logos - the Deliveroo logo might be a little smaller going from its text placement to the sides of the logo).

Also, this is the first time we've seen the New Balance template really effect a jumper design - it hasn't been noticeable given Melbourne has the solid red at the top, and it doesn't effect the solid colours on the Gold Coast jumpers. It's a shame that the shoulders are cut into so much, the clash jumper design (and the candy stripe designs) are much better for having the stripes go all the way up. We've had a similar occurrence across ISC templates with Candy Stripe #2, and the home jumper with ISC in 2016, but it wasn't as pronounced and the black collar and cuffs that year hid it a lot.

On the plus side, the tighter and thinner collar on the template will make it less like the ISC singlet, and also no more weird shiny material.

Basically the home jumper is very similar to the AFLW jumper:

Edit: Looks like the cub has taken everything off that page for the moment. Probably a test given how low-res the training jumper images were. There's this one too, which The taipan had mentioned over the past few weeks.

Awful home jumper. All they had to do was print red above the seam and it would be fine.

I like the black/grey version of the cross though.

I'm sure it wouldn't have killed them to bring the stitching up either

O'Neills haven't had that ISC-style extra part on the back of the collar until with their Crows guernsies, so O'Neills have kinda copied ISC. Not sure why they added it?

Yes they have. I have an o’neills jumper from last year and it has that back bit on the collar. They’ve had that template for a couple of years.
