If we combine Geelong's weird "G" template, the Lion's BBFFC disappointing relocation, Essendon's confused collars and cuffs and Hawthorn's potentially oversized novelty "Tasmanian" logo, we have potentially the most hideous Frankenstein jersey to have ever existed

Or the old Tasmania logo they're covering up was big, and they only have a low res TASMANIAN text, so they're adding a bigger box around it to cover up.

All in all, it looks terrible.

It's simply a logo.
That logo, at this point, will be used during the 2022 season and then retired.
Possibly some of it will be used moving forward, for instance the '150 years' text, however that is not confirmed at this point.

What we do know is the Essendon logo first used in 1997 is still used on the club website: https://www.essendonfc.com.au/
It was also just installed in the new facility they unveiled this week.

I actually like the Bomber logo, but maybe just a colour refresh along with a new typeface would work better. In my mind the 150 logo, while unique in terms of team logos, is actually quite badly designed, with too much going on. A modernised version with a better stylised "EFC" could definitely work, as the current design and colours and are very muted and parts of it get lost (example towards the bottom you can see parts disappearing into the guernsey).
Edit: Also note this (which i noticed as i was typing), the logo is actually different from the official release one which seems to have a border. They have also changed the left half of the shield to grey instead of a slight tone change. Really weird design change.

It's a bit like that Melbourne logo everyone hated.
The only difference being this was made up of former logos, where that was different design elements.
