I heard Xavier Campbell on SEN say that they will feature the logo down the hip by the AFL tag.

Interestingly he said for commercial reasons they had some trouble placing it, which sounded strange to me
Pre Covid they had a logo above the number(s) but that spot has been taken up by a secondary sponsor.

Yeah but why not put it above the sponsor on the front, below the AFL logo, under the sponsor

I mean, I like the cool placement they have done (similar spot to where we put the Maddie's Match logo) but it was a interesting comment

I would of thought the two other options was the top back (where liberty is, previously they had the monogram there), and the top left (where port, stk and Collingwood have there logos) below the sponsor. Amart and/or Fujitsu may have not liked the idea of that happening

I just looked through and noticed that collingwood didn't wear their home jumper with white shorts at all this season. Is this a sign that we might be reserving our home jumper for home games?

In 2008 Richmond had ours below the AFL logo which I thought looked really neat

What even happened with that? Was there just some big falling out between the two parties? Hard to imagine there could be such a big problem that would cause West Coast to cut them off. Some personal differences perhaps in the end.

Story that's been floated around is that WC weren't happy that they were continually late with stock. There was also a train derailment at the time.

You wouldn't blame them (west coast). I don't think they even wore the actual castore kit thus year. Storm20 (or anyone for that matter) any news/rumours?

From what I saw, they never did, it was the sekem-made kit all year.

I really wonder what went wrong with castore’s Eagles stuff, but seemingly everything was fine with getting the stuff to Melbourne Storm.

wasn't there a rumour Eagles sent back the original shipment as it wasn't good enough?

They didn't produce an away jumper (Home with sponsors reversed) for 2021, they produced the jumper last year but never wore it. Almost exclusively wore the the clash white based jumper in away games, wore a black based Indigenous jumper away to Adelaide which had away sponsors. The only match up where they would typically wear the away jumper in 2021 was away to Sydney and they wore full home.
Will be interesting to see what they do going forward with it and whether they produce an away jumper or make up for wearing a home jumper in away games by having away sponsors on Indigenous jumper and wearing that in a home game.

I still vote they figure out how to make that white feathery training kit into an away/clash kit, or make a black version. That thing is great

North fans got emailed today about membership renewals and one of the photos attached shows Tarryn Thomas with the Puma logo photoshopped over Canterbury on the guernsey, which all but confirms the rumour.

Blue guernsey or white?

Doing some research, both Neds and XL Express contracts were up to the end of 2021.
Thank gawd. XL did some neat promos in shopping centres, but the ugly-ass logo needs to either become colourised to match the kit or just gone. Neds… well get rid of them please ;)

Is there more money in sponsoring Aussie sport recently or there no more decent local brands? Feel like both Puma and Nike sponsor everything from state leagues to development comps now.

Apologies for the poor quality, the photo is small and I had to zoom in a bit. And I’m on my phone right now. Still clearly the puma logo though which is exciting! :)

This got leaked recently by the clubs who were shitty at losing the extra payments, which is why the AFL have kept the above the number sponsor
