Not really to the level of signing an NDA, however, I know a bloke who sent through information on the colours used by the original state teams and the State of Origin colours to the AFL Licensing dept.
Therefore I believe the intention is to use either of the the colour sets used in the State of Origin era.
Here's the colours used by the State team
1908 - 1959 Myrtle, Primrose & Rose
1961 - 1977 Dark Green, Gold & Maroon
1978 - 1981 Emerald Green, Gold & Maroon
1982 - present Dark Green, Gold & Maroon

Probably will follow the trend of Gold Coast and GWS' bad corporate formulated uniforms.
Shame the nickname SUNS is taken.

They cant go past the Lumberjacks nickname and have a Anthropomorphic Tassie Devil dressed in flannels and carrying an axe as the mascot.

Wouldn’t work too well given Tassie’s climate though. That being said I was fully on board for Gold Coast to be the Stingrays which would’ve meant probably having an actual mascot rather than the oval logo and GWS should’ve been the Western Sydney Wolves with blue replacing the orange but at least their G looks cooler.
My main point though, nicknames with scope for an actual mascot in the logo are way cooler in my opinion.
