It was to do with Nike believing there would be problems with shipping in 2024.
They made the 2024 gear during last year and it arrived in October, with Red AFL logos.
It turns out they were correct, the Red Sea problems kicked off a week later, the drought in the Panama Canal is causing backlogs and costs have gone up, some cases, by double.

I think this is the earliest we've ever received jumpers by a long shot to their credit. They just had to start shipping them halfway through the previous season, forget any shipment of more guernseys during said season and forgo the gold logo on retails in order to get it done, but they did it!

Port Melbourne has there 150th so have been using a monogram

The gold logo just kind of looks s**t and always has. It'd be way better and look less like it's been out in the sun too long if the white in the logo changed to gold instead of the red.
