I actually have always thought the Saints could have brought it back. they're one of those sides, like the Doggies or the Hawks, where you can sort of play around with mostly minor details and make it look significantly different while harking back to an era or trying something brand new and it still retains the core look.

Funny thing is it is a massive upgrade on this debacle we have had for the past few years which when tucked in only had a bit of the red visible.

Feel if they swapped the red and blue around on the collar and cuffs (i.e blue cuffs, blue neckline and red collar), this would have been a ripper but it would have been the same as 1925 jumper. I assume they will replicate that for the Round 2 game and is the reason why they didn’t go with that design for the home jumper for the entire season so they can sell more.

The Maccas logo isn’t even the worst thing about it. What’s with the yellow? Bad lighting or? The colours of Brisbanes guernsey have been whack for years and it looks like they’re getting worse. The yellow looks like baby yellow, not gold. Blue needs to be much darker. I love the gold logo tradition but it looks putrid on this guernsey.
The gold logo throws the other colours off in ones brain considerably. Collingwood's last year just looked like the logo had faded, even though it was clearly gold.
None of the guernseys really look good with it. Some are just better than others. They need a new design for it.
