new logo concept

Hello Croweaters,

Your club's original logo was one of my favourites in the AFL. Always looked forward to seeing your preseason jumpers each year! Not a big fan of the current logo. For all of you who don't look at the footy jumpers board on big footy, thought i would just share with a new concept for a crows logo.

I don't particularly like it but then again, anything would be better than the abomination we currently have !

in terms of a logo, i like it much better than the current 'modern' one we have now (looks pretty cool actually), though i find the football unnecessary and more of a space filler. i've taken a look at the actual guernsey design you had in the jumpers board, which looks ok (the bird could've been better incorporated, i.e. without the cutout flat bottom), but personally, i don't like the royal blue though (on the guernsey), only because it's not a part of our team colours. good work though.

Not a bad design, not a fan of the rainbow colours on the Crow though. I would have a blue crow, keep the colour scheme the same for the ball and maybe red lettering for Adelaide and yellow lettering for Crows.

im not really a fan but I admire the effort you must of went to to do it so wont critisize it that much.

btw, I like the touch of the goal posts on the ball

it's what you call the in-between colour, peach. just darken the red, darken the blue, and it'd look great.

I'm with you Jenny, I actually don't mind the new logo.. i'm not a hater of it put it that way and I prefer it to our old logo.

I wouldnt call it fierce, more slightly displeased.

I prefer the suggested bird to the pterodactyl's head. Then again, I'd probably prefer a 3yo finger painting to the pterodactyl head.

On the other hand, I prefer the font/colours used in the current logo to the proposed logo ("Adelaide Crows" text only - not the pterodactyl head). Not sure about the colours used on the suggested bird, they're a bit light and not strong enough.

i think you'll find that the people that don't like the logo are generally serial whingers anyway...

Yours kinda looks like a pigeon but it is still a good design. I would prefer both designs to be a darker blue almost black. Could someone design one where the crow is facing forward and looking fierce.

Not a bad design, but the colours aren't our club colours. Need to be much deeper.

To be brutally honest, it sucks. Like pariah said, it looks like a pigeon. A pigeon on acid maybe, but still a pigeon.

Needs to be more predatory. I don't mind our current logo.

Bring back the old crow but transfer the current logo font into it. At least our non clash jumper is pretty good.

I dont mind it, good effort, as mentioned I think the colours need to be stronger.

I hate our current logo, I cant see myself ever buying any merchandise with that logo on it.

Our new logo looked baaaaad this year, especially when you could see the logo and the scoreboard at the same time.

I am quite impressed at the way Fremantle have relaunched their brand. In comparison to Adelaide last year, with the "Cursed Crow" and hideous away jumper. Fremantle has designed something modern and vibrant.

A 5 year old could design a better logo then the one we have. I still refuse to purchase any merchandise with that logo. I seriously thought that the new logo when launched was for a kids range of Crows merchandise.

I really like the new Freo jumpers. Very similar to Port's (which is also good), except in purple rather than black.

If only they can get rid of that godawful club song they might almost be able to win themselves some respect.
