AirAsia.

They currently fly out of Syd, Mel, GC and Perth. If they are looking to expand their Australian operations we'd be next cab off the rank.

They love their sport sponsorships aswell (QPR, Caterham F1, Australian MotoGP).

I would be surprised if it is air asia as my girlfriend's family were the founders. I flew the kite on the sponsorship opportunity but they didn't bite. That said, that was 8 months ago and a lot has changed.

The associated hotel chain "Tune Hotels" were more interested but it was the wrong timing.

Port Adelaide Red Bulls. If it makes us the richest club in the land - why not!

I don't think you get how they work. It would be Red Bull SA or just Red Bull FC. There wouldn't be a Port Adelaide insight.

Don't know about you guys, but the idea of selling out our history for any company is highly offensive. Don't know how you can even joke about it. It's the stuff of nightmares.

Yeahbutaslongaswebeatthecamrysamirite?

I can't say I have any particularly strong attachment to the 'Power' moniker as such, but it is our nickname and I'm comfortable with it. I'm also willing to give the benefit of the doubt to the people suggesting that for $1m a year they'd happy to be called the Port Adelaide Red Bulls, and suggest maybe they're joking. Because that is one hell of a slippery slope we do NOT want to be hopping onto.

It's totally ****ing stupid and the AFL would never allow it to happen to one of their licences. I don't even know why people keep talking about it, it's that far from the realms of possibility.

That's why I said I don't know how people can even joke about it. It's a nauseating prospect, our history and being "Port Adelaide" is what sets us apart from the rest. It's not for sale, even hypothetically.

I know it's not gonna happen, just letting people know that I couldn't think of a more disgusting notion.

For a million a year I'm happy to be called the redbulls

Would be surprised if its AirAsia. Their owner has a massive hard on for Manchester United. Would still be thrilled though. 2 international major sponsors would be a massive get.

Some of you need to calm the **** down.

1. No one even knows if Red Bull are a sponsor.
2. If they are, no one knows what the deal is.
3. There is no way that the AFL would allow the rebranding of a team as the REDBULL WHATEVERS.
4. Even if the AFL was open to the idea, it would take a complete buy out of the team to make it happen.
