NFL New NFL Uniforms/Logos

sounds like a good bracketology thread idea :thumbsu:
it's your baby!
I might have a tinker during the offseason.

Would do:

Broken and GG.exe give two options for a teams best ever uniform.

A vote by the board on each teams best uni out of the two options prior to the main comp kicking off.

Each team is then represented with their best possible uni and chance of winning (as according to the board)

If there's something better than New England home, New England away or New York (Giants) away I'd like to see it.

3 best uniforms.

Even better than the San Diego alternate.

Also - Do Oilers uniforms come under the Titans banner? Do Texan uniforms come under the Chiefs banner? Browns under the Ravens banner? Do Braves uniforms come under the *******s banner? Do Titans come under the Jets banner? etc.

I was thinking something along these lines. Have the board decide the best uniform for each franchise, then put them in a 32 team bracket.

I'd have all uniforms from a franchise in consideration. Just need to work out whether to just include the home unis, home and away or combine each seasons uniforms as a package.

Everybody has that #23 Michael Jordan jersey or that Kobe Bryant #24 jersey but c’mon people, it’s time to be original. You don’t wanna walk around sporting the same jersey as everyone else. What’s the fun in that? In an effort to still represent your favorite player but in a much different and interesting way, here are the top 20 coolest and most unique jersey’s you need to own…

may have just grabbed a supersonic's Durant jersey :/

Tempted to grab a Favre Falcons and Jordan Wizards (more so as a MJ fan, **** Washington)

I wish Dallas returned back to this uniform. Probably equal best ever uniform with the Raiders.

I've always been partial to a #30 WOODS Bengals jersey.

On the bracket idea I'm thinking of doing it one of three ways and I'm interested in feedback
1 - Include the uniform designated as the Home uniform for a given year (i.e. Buccaneers 1976 White uniform, 1977-85 Orange uniform, 2009 Red uniform, etc...)
2 - Include ALL uniforms used be a team, including throwbacks.
3 - Include the uniform set (home, away, alt, throwback) used in a season.

I'm leaning towards option 1, but I'm happy for other opinions.

Seeing all the throwbacks to old Super Bowls and, in this case, the logos, programs and tickets continues my hatred for this generic approach with recent Super Bowls.

The logos have always been a part of identifying the game, to me anyway, now they're not much of a muchness.

Look at this years program and all the references to the old Super Bowls. I know it's not much, but you can identify with the older games due to their logos. The new generic ones are barely visible, let alone identifiable.

Then you have the programs (the tickets are similar). The old ones are works of art, but now (since XXXIX or so) it's the standard Lombardi trophy in front of a generic stadium/skyline pic which is pretty boring.

I wish the NFL would dump their attempt at a consistent brand and bring the individual touch of each game back.

Royal Blue?

Stuff that

For those wondering about some pairing of colors, your helmets will be altered by changing decals and facemasks.

If all goes well you may see changes to the current league stance on changing helmets Midseason.

(GIANTS) Yes, with blue numbers and red pants and socks too

(BENGALS)
My favorite by far.

Your current uniforms. All white, black stripes.

(BROWNS) Yours is a slight recoloring of your current orange monochrome set. Brown numbers instead of white ones.

(FALCONS) Picture Seattle's gray set. Swap navy for red.

(BRONCOS)
No what's weird is your team almost went yellow. Too many other teams did though.

You guys wanted yellow and navy vertical striped socks.

Right now helmet looks will be altered by changing logos and stripe decals, as well as facemasks, but the shell must remain the same.

However, if the color rush jerseys are as hot of sellers as thought to be, the league may very well revisit their stance on the helmet issue as early as the 2017 off season.

(BRONCOS)
I don't want to spoil the full surprise, but see what was done with the Rams? An inverse of their throwbacks?

Picture your throwbacks, only instead of orange, they're royal blue.

These in the color of that helmet, with a slight twist.

I really think you guys will love them.

Hijacking to let Lions fans who may be debating buying a new jersey know they should wait. New uniforms are coming in 2017.

(BRONCOS) Your color rush is actually royal Blue. Think an inverse of the old Elway uniforms with orange numbers and navy borders.

Won't happen.

Color Rush is for Thursday Night Football

Broncos are wearing Royal

Raiders are wearing gold

The ultimate goal of color rush is to sell merchandise that fans might not normally purchase. Staying black for the Raiders would mean no new jersey for sale this fall. By going gold, a color the Raiders used to wear, by the way, you'll have black, white, and now gold as options for purchase.

(CARDINALS)
It's for one game. Yellow is a color in your logo, and eligible for use.

The whole point of color rush is to promote secondary or throwback colors of a franchise's history and create merchandise in those colors the fans may not otherwise purchase.

(RAIDERS) Gold is going to sell. I guarantee it. Market tests went... ok

(BRONCOS) Royal blue, orange numbers, navy borders. There will be alterations to the helmet to balance the color scheme.

Hang tight. I wouldn't buy any Rams gear until after the draft if I were an LA Rams fan. That's all I will say.

(BRONCOS HELMET) Without going into too much detail, no, the base color will remain navy, but the colors will balance out with other changes made for the game.

(EAGLES) Give it green numbers. You're on the right track.

(GIANTS) Red is the color. They're in the style of the 1933 uniforms.

This change looks to move the brand of Detroit Lions football forward. To usher in a new era in the rich history of Lions football. Looking to the past for hints about what these changes will bring will get you nowhere.

The Lions new visual identity is inspired by the future of the team, but the past of the city.

Stay tuned.

I don't think they would ever go straight throwback unless they also put orange pants on it - which is what i wanted, all orange

this is the 90s jerseys just in royal blue
I'm disappointed

I bet it's shit
