They need to let go of the 'single helmet' rule for some of these to even look close to good. Which they won't.

Can't see why it's so unsafe at the start of the year fit the player with an identical helmet outside of the colour for a planned throwback or colour rush uni.

That's a good point. If the NFL could bend the rules regarding the teams uniforms for this new promotion, surely they could do the same with the helmets. I'd love to see the Raiders wearing a metallic gold helmet to go with their gold uniforms or the Eagles/Falcons with silver helmets, etc...

It's a safety thing

the material for uniforms doesn't need to be 'broken in' as far as I'm aware


However they are looking at changing it possibly next season at some point

A while back there was talk about a best uniform bracket but, after researching the uniforms used by each team, I think this would create way too many threads on the board. I might just come up with something in either this thread, or a stand alone one.

But seriously, I would have picked kelly green if I could find a clean high res picture, where the uniform is made well like the current nike ones are. The old reebok ones were trash quality, nike are very sharp.


So what I'm saying is, do you know if the Eagles have worn kelly green in the last 4 years?
