So like the falcons thing...STOOP...a big stripe under the arm pit that matches up with the stripe on the pants.

I honestly can't see them rolling out grey after touting how they have the best uniforms in the history of all mankind and that the best get better. Wouldn't add up to me. Only way is if it's a color rush, which, who gives a :censored: because all the color rush unis suck.

The problem with having a gray alt (besides just that it sounds ugly, and in the NBA and CFB dark gray alts are getting really overplayed) is that, as I understand it, you can't make an alt out of a non-uniform color. That's why the Lions shoe-horned that muddy-gray outline on their numbers, as well as the somewhat pointless black number trim and facemask on the Jets. If the Chargers want to have an ugly gray alt, that's not good, but as has been pointed out a lot the last few days, 9 out of 10 NFL alts are bad... the real problem will be with the pointless inclusion of gray in an otherwise nice color scheme. Hmm... gray swooshes, maybe?

I wonder if @TruColor would be either willing or able to shed some light on the gray business?

Okay, so first thing: that TUA

SZN guy on Twitter had his account deleted, so he was probably full of :censored:.


Second: Take this with a hefty grain of salt, but Joey Bosa made an appearance on the YouTube video above and gave some hints about the new uniforms (whether they were real hints or a smoke screen remains to be seen). He said “They’re a lot simpler, we got rid of a color completely. There’s two, but then the color we got rid of, we made a Color Rush version that’s all that color and it looks absolutely unbelievable.” He goes on to say that you can probably deduce what that means if you’ve been following along, and then says that he believes the royal blue Color Rush is coming back as well. If all of this info is actually legit, then it seems pretty clear that the color he says they got rid of is the navy since they eliminated it from the new logos. And if that’s the case then the new alternate he’s talking about is mono-navy. Since the logo sheet shows both the royal blue and navy logos as Color Rush marks, its very possible that they could have mono-navy and mono-royal alternates that they’re labeling as Color Rush despite the fact that the NFL eliminated the Color Rush program in 2018. Or the royal blue uniform could be a throwback or paired with yellow pants or something, who knows. All of these hints seem way more plausible than the gray uniform rumor that the TUA

SZN guy started. If that guy had any legit info at all it’s also possible he was shown a poor quality image and mistook the navy alternate for a dark gray. Or he was just full of it, which frankly seems much more likely.

also, to back up TUA....look what you posted just a second ago about the Colts, how they're not allowed to have an ALT if the color isn't on the palette of official colors.

chargers just got rid of navy blue altogether. so there wont be a navy ALT. mind you, i don't see dark gray/black anywhere either on the logo....but, as someone pointed out elsewhere....chargers have been posting tweets or info using a lot of black backgrounds/backdrops....so maybe the midnight lights thing is true still. More black/charcoal than gray tho.

Patriots and Chargers to be revealed today/tomorrow.

I think Patriots have gone with a blue helmet. Wise choice.l given the AFCE was all light helmets (Jets changed to green) and it would be better having Blue then. Also if they webt white helmet, theyd look too much like Bills (white helmet, blue jersey)

Pats blue helmet, color rush uniform is now staple (or maybe 90s throwback is).

Chargers powder blue helmet and pants (yuck all monochrome) but should have multiple pants options anyway.

Home = blue jersey, white pants, blue socks with white stripes (inverse of current away socks)
Away = white jersey, white pants, white socks with blue stripes (current away socks) (with blue pants option)

Helmet needs to be white to match the pants

I don't like red jersey for the Pats but if they're gonna have an alternate just make it a red version of the colour rush
